Rare find of refined vintage modern *kokeshi simplified wooden doll titled as 'Hajirai' (lit. 'Shyness') made by a kokeshi artist, Kenichi Murakami (1929-1991), c.1970-80s, approx. H 38cm (14.96), categorized into ‘Sosaku kokeshi’ (or 'Shingata kokeshi', lit. ‘Creative kokeshi doll’) based on the traditional form and style but with more feminine elegance and quite next level perspective. A very attractive and fine cast iron incense container (kogo) for use in tea ceremony decorated with a motif from the Ten Ox-herding Pictures of Zen Buddhism. Inside covered in gold. Signed by Suzuki Morihisa (1920–1981), a 14th generation of cast iron-makers from Morioka who later taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tokyo. A frequent exhibitor at the Nitten. With original signed kiri-tomobako and artist's information paper. Showa period ca. 1960. H 3 cm, D 7,2. Condition: Perfect.

Thin wool unlined kimono with katazome dots pattern. The wool kimono was made in 1950s. The ground is off-white and dots are red. It looks it was barely worn and in excellent condition. 1950s. 130cm x 154cm

Vintage Japanese pink Momo Coral carved Scotty Dog figure undamaged weight 4 g size 1" by .75" or so.

Tea caddy (chaire) of Shigaraki ware with characteristic, mottled, beige glaze over brownish, rough corpus. Lid of finely worked ivory. Signed with potter’s mark in the bottom. A heavy silk storage bag (shifuku) with stylized flower pattern comes with the piece. Showa, circa 1960. H 8 cm, D 6 cm. Condition: Perfect.

Small statue of the face of Okame. Her round, full cheeks and Heian period hairdo give her head the silhouette of a penis. Her open mouth is in the form of a stylized vagina. Shunga of sorts.
Cast bronze with dark brown patina. Good details.
