Hand spun, hand woven Japanese Tsumugi silk obi. This obi was made from a full obi roll without being cut; the front fabric was turned into the back and the sides of obi were simply sewn together without padding inside. Japanese Late 20th Century (1995) porcelain charger by master ceramicist, Ono Hakuko (1925-1996). The charger has the design of fern leaves and blossoms done in Ono Hakuko's signature style with gold leaf underglaze. The charger is signed "Haku" on the bottom. The charger comes with TOMOBAKO, or original wooden artist signed storage box. The box is also signed by Ono Hakuko's son, Ono Jiro. It also comes with TOMOGIRE, or original artist stamped wrapping cloth...

A Chinese round shaped soupstone seal with micro-carvings of Guanyin, sutra, and poems. This seal is a name seal of Huang Jianlun. Condition: stone vein cracks; one chip at the lower edge. Diameter: 11/16"; height: 3-1/2".

Vintage pair of cut jadeite pieces to be used as Chinese scholar’s scroll weights. Stone of olive green color with natural lines and differently colored veins, sides showing the skin of the boulder from which the pieces were cut. Nicely polished, very pleasing objects for a scholar’s desk. Height (left one of the first photo) 2 11/16 inches, weight of the left one 265 grams (9.4 ounces), the right one 210 grams (7.4 ounces).

Japanese 20th century porcelain vase by Japan Living National Treasure, Tokuda Yasokichi III, born Tokuda Masahiko in Komatsu, Japan. The vase is done in a globular form on the bottom, cylindrical shape in the middle with a flared top. The overall glaze is a dark eggplant color with blue, yellow and green coloration on the top. Tokuda Yasokichi III became Living National Treasure in 1997 and is recognized for work with Saiyu, glaze color gradation technique...
