Large wooden tray actually used at old 'ryokan' (Japanese‐style hotel), Showa period, early-mid 20th century, D 35.6-34.8cm (14.01-13.70in), H 5.8cm (2.28in). Aesthetic grain expression and calm comfort for use.
Expected some fine scratches due to aging with use. *Only a tray is available to purchase, as the other stuff (cups) of usage example are not attached...
Vintage East Indian altar shrine, made from brass with copper nails. The step base leads into the shrine with embossed tree panels behind four pillars. The top of the structure has two peacock shaped finials. Openwork repeating patterns and floral motifs are shown throughout.

Japanese glass ojime in a form of tombodama bead of flattened ball shape with inlays of a butterfly and cherry flowers. Tombodama can be translated as “dragonfly ball” and the name is thought to come about because when the molten glass is applied to the core bead it resembles a dragonfly’s eye. Superbly made piece, in perfect condition. Diameter 0.78 inches.
Small yab yum sculpture of Vajrabhairava and consort, the term yab yum translates as "father, mother" and refers to a male deity in sexual embrace with female consort, circa early 20th century.

This is an old tobacco pouch from Indus Kohistan, a remote area of northern Pakistan located along the Indus river. Cotton embroidered with silk thread, depicting interlocking rhomboids on one face, repeating chevrons on the other, and embellished with beadwork on the edges. The embroidery technique is exceptionally fine brick stitch, closely paralleled in Hazara embroidery...
WOODEN WINDOW FRAMES OF YANGBAN'S HOUSE
Early 20th century, Korea. approx. 51 x 33 x 3.5cm each (20.07 x 12.99 x 1.37in).
Such refined craftsmanship of characteristic unilateral rounded lattice facing outward tells this pieces were actually installed in the residence of Yangban (ref. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yangban)
at that time. Also its unique iron fittings and handle are tasteful...
Rare zoomorphic medicinal vase or water pot, in ceramic with Song Dynasty type Celadon glaze, in the shape of a puffer fish. Vase from the Khmer or Song period, circa 10th/12th century. Depicted as a round bloated fish with ting front fins and large faired tail and a tiny mouth hole similar to a water dropper Angkor region, Cambodia heavy burial staining. , no restoration. Size 3.5" by 4.5"
A pair of Chinese blanc-de-chine 'heron' candlesticks each perched among folliage with flowers and other wildlife.

Condition: Good condition. One of the herons has the top of his crown broken off and there are small areas of chips and cracks which are normal for this size and age.

Neolithic Hongshan Nephrite Jade Dragon Insect toggle pendant .The figure of a dragon insect hybrid the jade is well worn with deposits. The Suspension holes are biconically off set drilled with mineral deposits within. The entire surface is covered in tremolite growth , a wonderful pendant. Size H 2.5" w just under 1.5" .
