Offered is a scarce pharmacy tool of the trade labeled No. 10 TABLET MOULD that was offered by the Whitall Tatum Company. These hard rubber molds were used in most drugstores from the mid 1880s to the early 20th century. This particular size mould made 50 one grain triturate tablets.

This handsome, hand-sized device enabled pharmacists to enhance their productivity. Measures 6 inches long.

Fortunately, the directions and original box still exist...

A handsome set of four sterling silver salt dips with cobalt blue glass liners. The silver walls are intricately pierced in the 18th century style and are raised on scrolled feet. The salts have fitted cobalt blue glass liners. The salts are fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1934 and have an unidentified maker’s mark “WA” in a shield.

Vintage Japanese okimono of one of the 3 wise monkeys in their habitual "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” attitude - in this case Mizaru covering his eyes. Very clever rendition of the animal, much more creative and challenging as a number of intersecting planes versus natural familiar rounded lines. This extraordinary vessel is a prime example of Wilhelm Kåge's celebrated Farsta series for Gustavsberg, Sweden. This piece measures 10 1/2" tall and is 4 7/8" in diameter. On the underside is incised Kåge, Gustavsberg, the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia, and the date code Z. This magnificent vessel was created in 1955. Mint condition.
