Iris & Herringbone was originally made by Jeannette Glass Company from 1928 to 32 during the depression. The pattern proved so popular that in the 1950's, they reissued it in the marigold iridescent color. Pictured here is the 4 1/2 inch beaded edge berry bowl in excellent condition. Horseshoe is the collector's name for Indiana Glass Company's pattern No. 612. Produced from 1930 to 1933, it's a lovely pattern that's as popular today as it was when it was first made. Offered here is the sugar bowl in yellow. Excellent condition. See my other listings for more in this pattern.

This spoon is 4 3/4" long. It depicts the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California. This spoon was made in Holland. It is in excellent condition.

This sterling souvenir spoon depicts the Fort Wayne Court House in the bowl. On the handle it depicts a farmer with an ax chasing a cow which is jumping the fence, The head of cow, Indiana in a ribbon, a stork of corn and berries.

A handsome set of four sterling silver salt dips with cobalt blue glass liners. The silver walls are intricately pierced in the 18th century style and are raised on scrolled feet. The salts have fitted cobalt blue glass liners. The salts are fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1934 and have an unidentified maker’s mark “WA” in a shield.

Origin: England, 1924. Condition: excellent, no dings, cracks or chips. Size: 2-3/16” x 1-11/16” x 1-1/4” tall. Silver Weight: 74.0 grams.

Lovely pair of sterling silver short candlesticks, the sockets with an engraved design and flaring outline suggestive of a tulip blossom. The design has a nice Art Deco feel and is really much more interesting than the typical short candlesticks of this type. The bottoms are marked “Sterling” but have no maker’s mark.

Origin: America, ca. 1950. Condition: excellent, the bottom edge of one stick has a few truly pinpoint-sized dings (not really visible except when upside down)...

Japanese 20th century wooden carving OKIMONO of KANZAN, a hermit, carrying his signature rolled hand scroll in his right hand and pointing up with his left. Kanzan means "cold mountain" so he is sometimes called the recluse of cold mountain. He was a recluse in the Taoist tradition. He is almost always associated with JITTOKU and the two of the were suppose to have spoken in gibberish to each other...

This beautiful vase was made by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the piece was produced in the late 1920's. The pattern is 'Chickadee' and shows 2 birds on each side. Approximately 6 1/2 inches tall, the color is called 'honey - it's a yellow ceramic wash over crystal. Perfect condition. Line 700 was produced by Consolidated Glass Company in 1929. Offered here is the #714 footed sundae dish (or sherbet). The color is a green ceramic wash applied over crystal and then fired on to fuse it permanently to the surface of the glass. crystal. This is a vibrant and beautiful Japanese uchikake (wedding gown) design by Yumi Katsura, a top bridal ware designer from Japan. Her name and ‘Japon’ are woven on a large black square located on the lower part of the center edge. After graduating from college, Yumi Katsura studied in France and in 1964, she opened the first bridal ware rental shop in Japan...

Japanese 20th Century cylindrical vase by Living National Treasure KANAMORI EIICHI (1908-2001). KANAMORI was recognized for his metal inlay work and was considered to be the very best at this craft. The vase has a simple yet elegant design of a single tulip outlined in inlaid silver. The tulip is done in a rusty red color. The vase stands 9 7/8" tall by 3 5/16" wide at the top rim. The vase is signed EIICHI SAKU on the bottom. Comes with TOMOBAKO, original artist signed wooden storage box.

A terrific pair of Art Deco sterling silver tension-hinged sugar tongs or “nips” by W. & S. Sorensen. The twisted upper handles are decorated with gilt crown-shaped finials and the tong ends repeat the twisted pattern of the upper handles. The tongs could be used for sugar cubes, candies, or even olives. Hallmarked by Sorensen. The tongs are very well made and are quite heavy.

A Set of Gorham Sterling Silver Openwork Candlesticks with Etched Glass Hurricane Shades. Dimensions 5" for the candlesticks and 10.5" including the shades. They are in excellent condition and are from the 1930's.

Pretty set of eight bone china coasters by Royal Worcester. Each has a hand painted transfer-printed floral bouquet design. The outer edges are ridged and the rims are gilt. In addition to their original purpose, the coasters could also be used for nut dishes or even butter pats.

Phenomenal Art Deco cocktail shaker and six matching cocktail glasses by Gorham. The gently curving surface has a quilted appearance created by deeply incised vertical and horizontal lines. The spout and handle are attached to the body with a cobweb-like decorative device. The cocktail glasses are raised on tall stems with knops decorated to match the bowls. The same decorative element is repeated where the stems meet the flaring bases. The interiors of the bowls retain the original gilding...

This beautiful red / white Murano bowl with inward folded sides has spiral threading and a polished pontil. Possibly Veneni Zanfrico or Barbini. This bowl is 10" 9" x 2 7/8".
