Chinese Gilt Silver Enamel & Jadeite Bangle Box with Coral & Turquoise Beads Marked "Silver"

The box is 4.65 inches (11.6 cm) tall by 3.15 inches (8 cm) wide. It weighs 365.1 gram.

The jadeite bangle has inclusions. The box is tarnished and missing minor enamels. It also has surface wears and scratches. (as seen in the photos).

She is the turn of the century Chinese Goddess of Mercy and Hearer of all Prayers. She is beautifully detailed, right down to her fingers and the beads around her neck. She has a traditional hair style and long flowing robes. She is depicted carrying a lotus flower and standing on a bed of lotus blossoms and seeds.

Blanc de Chine ( white from China ) porcelain is usually associated with Dehua kilns. She was made from a mold, not on a potter's wheel...

Gorgeous large vase with a velvety matte finish shading from white to pastel blue. The pattern is diamond quilted design with white lining inside the vase. Circa 1895. Pontil is smooth ground polish. EXCELLENT CONDITION!

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by the Schwarzburger Werkstatten or Schwarzburg Workshops in the 1920s. The base has the impressed initials AST which stand for the artist Albert Storch. The factory was founded by Max Aldolf Pfeiffer in 1908 and he was the director until 1913 at which time he became the artistic director at Meissen. The highest standards of artistic accomplishment is evident. The macaw is 15 1/2 inches high, 12 inches wide and 7 inches deep...
