Urushi sakazuki (sake cup) made of wood and painted with black urushi. It has hand-painted sculp with red urushi which is for a charm against evil spirits and used in a temple or a shrine. Cigarette holder made of ivory nicely carved in relief to represent a dragon chasing the pearl in the middle of clouds. Both tips are made of silver. China, early 20th century. Length: 9,8 cm. Obvious signs of use and wear, otherwise very good condition.

Antique 16th century Turkish Ottoman gold gilt-copper (Tombak) Islamic Amulet case (Ta'wiz-Muska) of hexagonal cylindrical form the bottom part adorned with engraved ornament. The upper part with two small integral rectangular suspension loops, allow the amulet to be suspended with a silk cord from the neck. originally held a Qur’anic verse.

According to the previous owner, this amulet case was found before World War II on the Mohacs battlefield in Hungary...

A Dutch delft heart shaped strainer on three short pointed feet and with attached handles at either end. Old Pat Guthman Antiques label on the base with the price of $550. 3inches (7.5 cm) tall, 5 inches (12.5 cm) wide and 7 ½ (19 cm)inches long.

Condition: Minor glaze chips, a small chip to the body on the underside and part of one foot missing. Good condition for the age and the softness of tin glazed earthenware.

Scooped out from pine tree blocks, actually once used as the grain containers of Korean everyday ware, early 20th century, D 21.5 x H 20cm (8.46 x 7.87in), D 18 x H 7.8cm (7.08 x 3.07in). Smoothly trimmed by chisel for the stability of each bottom. Aesthetically grain is coming out as well. Solid make, with some scratches, cracks, stians, etc...

Nine small brass weights originating from the African Gold Coast. The top decorated with different geometric ornaments as spirals, waves, swastika etc. Used for weighing gold dust which for centuries was the currency of the region.
