This is a great Japanese cloisonne vase signed by Hayashi Kodenji. It has a large 4 sided form and is prolifically decorated on all sides. The enamel just glows and the workmanship is spectacular. The scattered sparrows are all done in gold wire. Overall condition is excellent. There is a circular craze on one of the shoulders that is not easy to notice. It take very bright light to see it...

Lantaka a 18th century cast bronze SWIVEL-CANNON “Rail Gun” or “Deck Cannon” solid bronze beautiful details measuring approximately 36 inches long. These cannon were used by the legendary Malay pirates, with small cannon-balls it was a powerful offensive weapon. A cottonwood Hopi Mudhead Kachina doll circa 1900. Depicting Koyemsi, the Mudhead Clown, of slightly attenuated form, arms hugging the torso, the case mask decorated with three circular attachments, representing gourds; painted with red, black and brown pigments. Description by Colton, 1949, p.59: "Koyemsi is the most common Hopi clown. He appears in Mixed Kachina Dances and sometimes a group of Koyemsi appear in a dance of their own, At First Mesa they are said to sing Zuni songs." 8 1/2" tall.

An Excellent Porcelain Armorial Tea Caddy, made by Edme Samson et Cie, Paris, circa 1880. In an Elegant Shaped Rectangular Form, with Enameling. Dimensions; 5" high x 3.5" wide x 2.5" deep. In excellent shape.

This very well carved gold gilt wood Buddha (Japanese name is Amida Nyorai or Amida Butsu.) is 18 ½” high, 7” wide and 6” thick (including base), the Buddha is 11 ¾” high, 3 ½” wide and 3” thick. It is a mid or late 18th century piece. His right hand facing outward means wisdom and his left hand facing downward means compassion. The halo on the back is missing. Aside from missing small pieces on the base and gold gilt lacquer lost from the robe, it is in excellent condition.

A very rare bronze set of Buddha and two disciples. Thailand, Early Rattanakosin, early 19th century. Dimensions: Buddha 32 cm excl. parasol, 50cm incl. parasol. The disciples 14 cm high. Condition: excellent, expected age wear to the gilding, original parasol and hand mirror.

Tang/five dynasties yue yao incense burner lid. 11,8cm diameter. 7cm high. Good conditions except one small chipped and one hairline to the rim.

Beautiful English Victorian hand enameled covered glass tureen with birds and leaves. Legs and handle to lid applied. Condition is perfect.
