A Chinese, very long, purple beaded necklace with bright green stone beads (possibly jade), blue fabric tassels with blue glass drops, small wooden round beads carved with saints' faces, silver medallions with green threads. This necklace would have been used in Chinese cinematography. 20th century

A superbly carved yellow soapstone seal in the form of a boulder. The legend on the base seems to read: Hua pa chou shang yin, or "Huapa (Flowery Loquat) seal of congratulation". On one side is a design of archaic dragons sporting around a traditional emblem of wealth, the copper cash with a square hole. Three inscriptions are carved on the faces of the boulder, much as ancient inscriptions were carved on suitable rock faces in the mountains...

Cross-hatched motifs decorate the border along with four vignettes of peaches signifying longevity...
A lovely hairpin, decorated with kingfisher feathers, coral and ornaments in amber and jade. China, late 19th/early 20th century.

A good Song Yuan longquan celadon large bowl, rounded side with deep center and glazed base, bowl decorated with 35 carved raising lotus petal motif at the exterior, covered with good green glaze.
Bowl is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration, minor crackled at glaze surface, porcelain with high ping sound with finger tip.

Up for sale is our oldest Japanese Tokkuri (Sake bottle). It dates from the Momoyama Period with an age of 400 years and has a very tasteful glaze with vivid colours. Close to the bottom there is a kiln mark (refer to picture no. 6)
The Tokkuri can be used with a little flower as a wabi arrangement...
