Antique Chinese eggshell porcelain bowl with black enamel lingzhi mushroom design along the inner and outer rim, and an incredibly charming black enamel dragon with flowers on the inside center. The outside edge is decorated with a bright enamel scene of eight immortals with scholar's objects. The foot bears a Qian Long mark.

Fine Etruscan chalice supported by a tall, slender stem. Three parallel grooves and a sharply cut carination decorate the exterior of the bowl. Robust double molding on the stem, close to the flaring foot. Brilliant black Bucchero pottery with polished surface.
Rare shape commonly associated with the ancient Etruscan city of Vulci.

Another fine example from our personal collection of animal hooked rugs, this one featuring an elephant posed on grass with fruited tree branches descending from the top of the rug.
The rug has a felt border, easily detached if so desired. The condition is excellent, with good colors and some slight scattered wear to the border. The size is 40" by 30".
This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Chelsea between 1756 and 1769. It has a gold anchor painted over the glaze. There are many copies of the gold anchor mark used through the decades but we guarantee that this cup and saucer is authentic. The saucer has a diameter of 4 5/8 inches and the cup is 2 1/2 inches high. The ground color is burgundy. Reserves of hand painted flowers decorate both pieces. This fine and elegant pottery model of a horse and rider was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Berlin, Germany by the Royal Porcelain Manufacturer, known as KPM, in the 1890s. It has the under glaze blue scepter and over glaze red orb with the letters KPM. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/8 inches and is 1 1/4 inches deep.
