A pair of Qing Dynasty Chinese blue and white deep plates from the 1730-1795 era, or possibly earlier. These rare ~9" across survivors are hand painted in blue on a grey ground, and they have the brown Batavian edge glaze. These Qianlong plates are 1-1/4" deep and they have the expected glaze frit, tiny glaze burns, pitting and flaws except for a 1/4" upper rim chip and central burst bubble central glaze flake on one bowl and a 1/4" chip under the rim on the other...

This antique large claret decanter has a heavy silver handle and hinged top with a ball thumb rest setd on a cut crystal decanter. It measures 13-7/8" in height and 5-1/2" across the base. A wonderful sterling silver soup ladle in Reed & Barton’s famous 1907 “Francis I” pattern. This is one of the most desirable late Victorian American flatware designs. This ladle is from the original series and is hallmarked with Reed & Barton’s old hallmark and the design patent date.

Origin: America, ca. 1910. Condition: excellent, very sharp details, light surface scratches in bowl from normal use, no monogram, no dings. Size: 12-1/4” long. Weight: 243.0 grams.

Very nice Imperial Russian peacock blue pressed glass tea box. Glass tea caddies are difficult to find in this color. The design features fans, strawberry diamonds and Russian cane motifs. The box is bound with silverplated mountings and a lock. The box was almost certainly made by the “OtyM.F. Atelier”. Locked tea boxes were a holdover from earlier days when tea was a precious commodity that had to be kept safe from marauding servants.

Turn-of-the-century Chinese silver mustard pot. Round and bellied bowl with plain concave neck, thin scroll handle, and spread foot. Modish floral ornament in form of chased and applied water lilies and pads heightened with engraving on stippled ground. Chinese marks. Very good condition.

A massive and superbly preserved bronze mace head decorated with faceted knobs around the swollen head and flanked by grooved bands on a tubular shaft, later bronzeage, ca. 1200-800 BC.

Condition: Intact and very attractine with a wonderful red and green patina.

This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufacturer in the 1890s. The bowl is 13 inches from handle to handle, 6 inches high and 8 inches wide. The porcelain is of the highest quality and is very substantial in weight. The footed bowl has a classic style using only gold trim on the white, reticulated porcelain for decoration. A superb and large specimen of an Old Elamite / Mespotamian type of bronze battle axe, c. early 2nd. mill. BC.

The axe well-modelled, the blade flares outward in a spectacular curve, its edge delineated as a thinner border. Thick socket with two spikes on the back and decorated with concenthric rings. The socket looks like the open mouth of a beast when viewed horisontically.

A terrific oversized bronze figural Bell, Luristan, c. 1200-800 BC.

The bronze Goat with exceptionally long curving horns and forelegs and with it's body evolving into a large openwork bell. Probably once with a small loop at the end, now lost.

Size: 13,6 cm. long and 9 cm. tall. A high unusual size for these which are normally quite small.

Condition: Near Extremely fine, but for the lost loop finial. Lovely dark green patina with earthern encrustations.

A large 'Luristani' bronze battle adze, South Caspian Sea type (Eastern region), 2nd. millenium BC.

An elaborate type with a long slender adze blade tappering to a wider bit. Enforced rilled socket with openwork spikes. Terrific lines and symethri and a large size, combined with the fine enamel patina, makes this an exceptional specimen.
