Magnificent and rare German BERLIN Koenigliche Porzellan Manufaktur "KPM" reticulated or cut out 2-piece porcelain basket vase, sugar basket also known as compote (1820 - 1830, designed by Karl Friederich Schinkel). The outer container is a white and gold basket weave in a lattice pattern and the separate inset piece/fitted interior bowl is a gorgeous powder-lapis lazuli-blue and gold recipient. Both have the iron red KPM and underglaze blue sceptre markings...
This 17th century (Ming Dynasty) blue and white Swatow ware jar is 13” high and 9 ¾” wide. There are four small round loops on the top. The blue glaze artwork depicts a fierce dragon flying through clouds. Judging from its shape, it might have been a wine container at that time. There is one small old repair on the spout. It is in excellent condition.
This early 20th century carved ivory landscape is 10 ½” high, 4 ¼” wide and 3 5/8” thick. The scene depicts a sage riding on a horse followed by a young female maid crossing a bridge. A monkey (probably the legendary “Monkey King”) stands on the top of the mountain. Pine trees, bamboo and plum trees are growing around the mountain and river. There is an honorific mark “Kang Xi” on the bottom. Aside of some the worn colors, it is in excellent condition.
The metal bowl of this traditional old bronze Chinese spoon is heavily patinated from extensive use and was probably used for heating maybe opium.
Beautiful Japanese light colored gold guilt lacquered case with fans. There are six fans with cranes, landscape scenes, and fruit. Original brass hardware has a lovely scrolling design. The interior has two drawers below one compartment with latticed sliding doors.

This old Chinese child's cloud collar was hand sewn by a proud Miao Ethnic Minority grandmother. The ornate embroidery stitching includes applique and daiz which is misnamed the forbidden stitch by Westerners. The collar is in excellant condition and is 9.5 inches in diameter
