This extremely rare Mimbres reed arrow with a foreshaft and a translucent flint point is 35" long. Everything is original including all the sinew and some feather residue. There has been no restoration or repair. It was found in the four corners area on private property. Cached in caves, bows and arrows from the prehistoric Southwest have survived the ravages of time and weather. It dates to around 1100AD. I purchased it from the Bob Rock collection in 1988...

This amulet is carved from a beautiful blue-green stone, most probably jasper and has been done with great attention to detail. The surface has a wonderful "mellow" patina and great tactile appeal. It measures 1"in height and is free from any restoration or re-carving. Inserted on a wooden stand, easily removed, should one desire. Dating to the Middle Kingdom. Ex London art market. Ancient Chinese Archaic Era bronze dou, footed vessel used to contain food. This traditionally dou vessel consists of two pieces. The larger piece is a circular bowl supported on a stem which gradually tapers downward and outward to form a round foot. And the lid which is a shallower round bowl on a shorter stem which is inverted and snugly fitted over the bottom bowl. Two ring handles are attached to the rim of the lower bowl on either side...

Small figurine representing Kuan Yin, the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy, in formal attire and wearing elaborate diadem and necklaces, sitting cross-legged on an elevated throne around which reclining lions are showing. A gilt bronze belt hook unusually cast with a bat's head to the centre and with a dragon head terminal. This item was made either during the early Western Han Dynasty or the late Warring States period of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty - circa 3rd to 4th Century BC. A finely carved jade dragon plaque dating, most likely, to the Warring States - Eastern Han period. The plaque measures 3-3/4"in length and is 1-1/2" at the widest. The stone is a grayish-green nephrite. Guaranteed authentic.

This G-10+ Columbia River Eastgate Gem Point is undeniably one of the best ever found. It was found in Sherman County, Oregon. It is made out of translucent honey colored agatized petrified brunt palm wood which is heavily patinated. It is 1 3/4" long. There isn't a ding, flea bite or mistake made anywhere including the tip. This jade carving depicts two dragons, seated back to back and is, as best I can tell, the real deal. Not only are there no signs whatsoever of modern tooling, but each of the holes at the snout has been drilled from both sides, using a conical bit. The jade itself does not lie 100% flat, which would be another "telltale" of modern production. Instead, it is slightly curved. Dating archaic jade is, of course, extremely difficult, so please have a close look at the photos and feel free to ask any...

This is a large amulet with two holes for suspension and was most probably used as a chest piece (pectoral). The polish is so spectacularly well done that the piece feels as smooth as silk when held. The large central hole gently tapers on both sides. It measures a full 4" in length and is 2-1/2" in height. Roughly 1/8" thick. In color a varied green nephrite with a minimal residue of the polishing material remaining on the surface.
