Perfectly captured essence of the creature, carved in characteristic Hida school style with clever use of wood colors and structure to add to the charm of the piece. A beautiful Art Deco cobalt blue overlap cut crystal perfume bottle in “Design 7623” by Cristalleries de Nancy. The bottle is cut alternately with clear pillars accented with stars at either end and blue pillars accented with printies rising to a step-cut shoulders and panel-cut neck. The hollow-blown stopper is cut to match with a large star cut at the apex...

A 6 inch diameter signed Galle bowl on which the rim is rolled inward to give the bowl 3 lobes.. The dark red overlay of fuschia blossoms and leaves is laid on a nearly colorless ground with a satin finish. The bowl is 3 inches deep and has a ground pontil.

This wonderful pair of porcelain Chinese prunus jars combines the famous cracked ice motif with "snowing" prunus blossoms which surround 2 reserves featuring perched birds in trees. Each tree is flanked with bats, an auspicious Chinese emblem.

The inspiration for this high quality design goes back to the Kangxi period, but these vases are Republic period of very fine quality...

Ca 1920 A wonderful set liqueur cups with etched silver plate holders. The cups are also etched with various designs. Three holders have a daisy and bud motif, four feature holly leaves while the remaining four have bamboo. One glass insert has a rough rim, another has a crack ( see photos) and some of the holders have dark spots inside the plate. 1-1/4"(h) x 1-5/8"(w). Sold as is.
