This shallow form bowl is decorated in a famille rose palette with vibrant overglaze enamels in the standard pattern known in the West as pseudo tobacco leaf. The form and paste of the dish is that of the Qianlong Period. There are some small nicks to the rim from use and a tiny rim nick infill. Unsigned, this 10" Mont Joye crystal cameo glass vase is beautifully hand enameled in a pattern of orchids over a clear "chipped ice" ground. Circa 1910

Antique Chinese robe made from beautiful red silk with auspicious designs of clouds, its interior lined in light blue silk. Its sleeves, collar, and bottom are lined in deep blue silk, with gold thread butterflies and flowers, and bordered with pink, white, yellow, and green auspicious motifs with a blue background. This 17th century carved polychrome wood head of Guan Yin (Goddess of Mercy) is 15 inches tall, 7 inches wide and 7 inches in depth. The solid teak wood base is 3 ¼ inches high, 9 inches wide and 8 ¾ inches in depth. This statue was part of the collection of a professor who spent over 20 years in China. Some of the color has come off and there is a long crack on the back of her head due to the age of this statue.

A delightful Bennington-type yellowware cow creamer with mottled brown glaze. The cow stands on a concave oval base. This example is more nicely potted than some, with good detailing in the ribcage area and a quirky facial expression. These creamers were made in both America and England, but the style of modelling suggests this is an American example. The tail has been reglued nicely, and a professional restorer could make the repair completely invisible.
