In the inside it says that Chun Fa was born in the cyclical year of XianFeng, eleventh month, ninth day =1850, lived forty two years and died in the cyclical year of Guangxu 1891...

Chinese porcelain rice bowl with a matching footed lid, decorated with red snarling dragons, surrounded by pink and blue puffs of smoke and red embers. The lid's top has pink flowers with pretty twisting vines, and around the bottom of the bowl is a blue-green wave pattern. Antique Japanese wooden bowl carved in the form of a wide lotus leaves. On the inside of the bowl, a frog with turquoise eye climbs the stalk of a lotus blossom. Two more frogs cling to curling leafy edges. The underside of the bowl is carved like the underside of a lotus leaf including it's spiraling stalk.

A unique and beautifully painted Chinese hat stand of the early 20th, Circa 1910-1915. It is unusual to find large florals on older Chinese porcelain works of art, so enjoy this visual treasure of brightly colored flowers that will brighten any decor. In excellent condition without any damage, further no hairlines, chips, etc.. It measures 11" high by 4.5" in diameter.

This Indonesian container would have been carried by a man using the handmade string as a shoulder strap. The "purse" was hand carved out of a local hardwood and both the top and bottom have decorative details.
