A highly interesting and very accomplished Blackware vessel with the portrait head of a living man, Precolumbian Peru, Late Moche or early Chimú, 7th.-9th. century AD.
Superbly detailed and rather substantial vessel, made as a grinning man with his tungue between his teeth and wearing larger earrings and headdress, the spout of the vessel prodruding from the top of his head. Rather scarce piece!

Instead have the textile basted (sewn) to a piece of complimentary background fabric…and the...
Out of Mongolia, this old leather tobacco pouch was made with a large button for hanging, long leather tassels, home made interesting decorative leather ornamentation...and hanging hook for removing old tobacco from pipe...
Clearly old and well used: the leather is still playable.

A nice drawn of blue and white dish, decorated to the interior with a bird on the tree and continuously flower scrolls to the exterior, all under blackish cobalt material appearing without any uneven. Ming dynasty 15th-16th century. Condition with four tiny chips and one slight long hairline. Please add $ 50,00 for restoration to chips and would be invisible, not recommended to cover the hairline.
