A beautiful Japanese hand-embroidered silk wall hanging with a scene of two elegantly fighting roosters. Each one surrounded by nicely detailed dandelions and chrysanthemums. Forbidden stitch work used in the center of each flower. Pine tree branches overhang the scene with interesting fine detail. The bottom left is embroidered with a red jar bearing artist's signature.

Large original Antique Japanese large low-fire ceramic mask of the Lucky God, Daikoku. His laughing face is round and painted with charming detail to his beards and eye brows. He is wearing his traditional hat that has been hand painted with great detail. One of the Lucky Gods, Diakoku is the God of Good Fortune as well as a god of the kitchen. It is possible that this mask may have hung on the wall in a temple's kitchen...

A good, Japanese iroe imari dish of square form with garden landscape decoration in red, green, yellow, aubergine, black and gold enamel and underglaze blue. The center panel decorated with pines, plantains and maples among rockery and below stylized clouds. The rockery employing "master of the rocks" technique of consecutive contour lines - the stylized clouds echoing the technique. Good condition. 7 to 7 1/8 inches square. Antique Japanese two section tansu made from sugi (cedar) wood in original red lacquer finish, with large round locks incised with cherry blossom mon on its drawers and warabite handles mounted on ornate back plating also with a cherry blossom motif. A blossom shaped porcelain plate asymmetrically decorated with fruits, flowers and birds above bonsai scissors, in underglaze blue, white, green and gold. The base with blue auspicious character mark. Brown glazed rim. Condition: some wear to gold. Dimension: diameter 21.6 cm and 3.6 cm high.

Blue and White Porcelain Memorial Tablet for Park Gi Il from Miryang, Korea, dated May 1830. It declares a long genealogy in the royal Min clan. This epitaph was written upon the passing of Park Gi Il of Miryang in May 1830. It memorializes him and lists his ancestors' names. An important piece of history and a rare and beautiful work of calligraphy painted with blue cobalt on white porcelain. 7.5 x 6 inches, 19 x 15 cm. framed

Mogollon/Tularosa ca. 1200 to 1300 ad, black on white pitcher with a double effigy handle (clay animal effigy handle with a human figure painted on it, all original) Tularosa is a time period of 100 years that was used by many different tribes from New Mexico to Arizona. A marked Qing Dynasty, 18th. century blue and white dish. Very nice underglaze cobalt blue, very nice glaze condition. There is an underglaze blue Qing Dynasty Mark to the base of the dish, and as an "Owners Mark" an engraved "Tian" ( heaven) mark to the front site of the dish Diameter: 14,6 cm. Condition : Perfect.
