19th century Chinese small carved wooden architectural panel depicting a court lady with a male attendant. Must have been part of an altar piece. Very nice quality carving, rich detailing, very pleasant wear and patina. Height 4 7/8 inches.

An intriguing set of five small dishes kozara decorated in kakiwake sometsuke style with a design of three Chinese boys, karako, manoeuvring a large snow ball, set within a yukiwa snow flake shaped reserve framed by a band of plum blossom set against a dark blue ground.
The design is a variant of the “One hundred boys playing” pattern popular on Chinese porcelain from at least the Yongle period...
Wonderful Japanese 2-panel byobu screen painting, 2 intricately painted Meiji Period fans, probably once used in a Noh performance and later mounted on a screen, each fan is painted in colorful mineral pigments with gold leaf, the fan on the left depicts white wild flowers blossoming near a meandering stream with billowing gold mist, the fan on the right is painted with a scene of 3 cranes flying over sea crests and a weeping willow tree, the two fans are mounted on a ground of gold flecks...

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Worcester around 1770. We have seen other pieces of Worcester in this pattern and although there is no marking, we believe it is Worcester. The diameter of the plate is 9 inches. The plate is rather deep. The border is colored with olive green enamel. The interior of the plate has hand painted flowers cascading across it. They are delicately painted with bright colors...
A Japanese Arita lobed dish decorated with a dragon descending from clouds, grasping the pearl of wisdom. The back with a fuku mark. The dish dates from 1750~1790. A similar design to Chinese examples of the Yongzheng period.
Approximately 14.4 cm diameter. Perfect condition.

A Pair of French Bisque High Relief Wall Plaques in their Original 19th Century Frames. One Depicts a Mother and Child and the other Two Lovers. Circa 1880. There is an imbedded disk on the back showing a cupid with a lyre, which we have not been able to identify (see picture). Dimensions; frame 11.25" square, plaque 6.5" in frame, 7" total. Excellent condition.
Stunning Chinese antique carved marble head of Buddha. Massive in size and weight, this beautifully carved fragment is sure to make an impression. Detailed with soft features and down cast eyes. This Buddha conveys classical Chinese features, a rounded face and chin, full lips and graceful eyes nearly closed. The high detail on the snail-shell hair curls attest to its providence.

This is an extremely rare spear point crafted from pottery and dating at least to the Han period of ancient China (circa 200 BC). It could be older than that but I am having difficulty locating references on these items. Stylistically the piece is likely from one of the minority cultures in Southeast Asian and the only other ones I have seen were attributed to the Dong Son...

This ceramic vase is decorated with mythological and fantasy creatures, inscribed on the surface, each of which alternates between stylized fleurs de lys.
