A large, Rubina, overshot, Bohemian glass jug, made likely by Harrach, around 1880. The jug is 10 inches (25,5 cm) tall and 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm) wide (to handle-tip). Except for a small rim-chip, the jug is in good condition. Unpolished, recessed pontil. Unmarked - attributed to Harrach. The glass fluoresces in a gentle green coloration when subjected to black-light - typicall of 19th century soda-lime glass objects.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in the US by Willets Belleek between 1880 and 1904. The porcelain is very translucent and has designs that are molded into it. The cup has a fancy molded handle and a little pedestal. The rims have irregular, scalloped edges. The set is hand painted with gilded flowers and foliage that flows across the surface. An early type of Scandinavian cuphrite brass metal pan for open fire with three legs and a closed handle. Later crude owners initials from time of use are dating to c. 1800. This particular alloy and type was made c. 1750-1780.

A scarce specimen of a Danish Neolithic Axe with a pointed neck, dating to 3500-2500 BC.

This type of axe were one of the early developments from the from the primitive core axes of the hunters and gatherers. It is found alongside the thinbutted axes, and most finds are in the eastern parts of Denmark.

A very nice Victorian lacquered papier-mache folding corner shelf decorated with Chinese court scenes depicting a pair of noble ladies relaxing amidst their finery. The design is worked in gold and silver metallic inks and is accented with iron red and flesh-tone colors. Colima Flat Large Female 9 1/2" by 5 1/2" CA. 300 B.C. to 500 A.D. Right leg reattached with break line showing, otherwise intact. This is a very nice early example, showing double pin hole piercing for each eye. She wears a unique head turban that flows continuously from the head wrap to drape over both shoulders. The piece is well shaped and detailed ,with an exceptional lifted and formed butt that is atypical for flats.

Fine Chinese Han Dynasty Burnished Pottery Cup

This fine & rare pottery cup was made some 2,000 years ago during the Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 220), or possibly a little earlier. It is made from a fine-grained grey pottery. This inner mouth and outer surface have a smooth burnished surface making it a real pleasure not only to view, but also to handle. The surface colour of the pottery varies a little in places, a result of uneven conditions in the kiln during firing.

A fine hardstone cyliner seal, Middle Assyrian Empire, 1363-912 BC.

The seal is carved in a matte-black stone and depicts a hunting scene with the great bending to shoot an arrow against a 4-legged animal, crescent above.

Condition: VF, intact with some wear and fine patination and micro deposits.
