Two Genuine SONG Period, SAWANGKALOKE-SISACHANALAI, SIAMESE-THAI iron brown glazed jarlets, both with 2 intact loops and horizontal incised ringed ribbing towards the top, 14-16th Century. The bases are not glazed. Size: height ~13 cm (~5 1/4").

Boldly carved substantial seal in serpentine in the gable form.

Porcelain sardine box with a handle in the form of a realistically-painted sardine. The sides and lid of the box are decorated with pink roses. The bottom is marked "Victoria Austria."
Origin: Altrohlau, Bohemia, Austria (now Stara Role, Czech Republic), ca. 1891-1918. Condition: excellent, slight wear to gilding along edges of the lid. Size: 5-1/4" x 4-1/2" x 3".
This pair of Lotus Shoes have a lotus blossom embroidered on each side of the white silk vamp. Used and showing many signs of wear, they are also a bit are dirtier than they appear in the pictures. One of the leather heels is missing. They measure just a bit over 5" heel to toe tip...
Late 19th century Chinese scholar jadeite seal of trapezoid section. The impression of the seal is shown on the first photo (image is flipped left to right to present the image as it will actually print on paper). Natural untreated jadeite of mottled light green color, a few natural fissure lines. The bottom is carved with 4 sunken characters, traces of red seal paste in the grooves. Very attractive piece for a scholar’s desk, excellent finish to the stone, pleasantly heavy...

A superb quality 19th century hand painted German porcelain double spills vase c1860-80. This decorative mantle piece measures 7-3/4" wide and it stands 7-1/4" tall; it is in the form of a boy at the seashore with waves and two shells acting as the vases. The painting and detail are superb, from the finely painted face to the realistic sand and the painted flowers on the boy's pants...
Unusual 19th century (can be 18th century as is often a case with Chinese pewter) Chinese pewter altar vase for holding incense sticks, inlaid with brass on one side with three tiers depicting (from bottom towards the top): 1. Lotus leaves and bud issuing from a pond, 2. A deep with a flaming roundel above it, 3. Three birds on a gnarled flowering prunus tree issuing from rocks. Vertical sides of all the flanges are inlaid with brass as well...

Women of the Miao Chinese minority did not cut their hat...when the hair was worn "bun Style" on the top of the head, the comb would be positioned
horizontally, with the tynes pushed under the "bun"...and the silver dangles would hang down...the actual "comb" is hand carved and covered with silver for decoration...
A nice small type of Danish boatshaped battle axe, from the late battleaxe period, ca. 2400-2000 BC.
A finely made battle axe with great lines and curves, boat-shaped and finely polished. One end blunt to function as a hammer. Very elegant axe.

This is a Fine Two-piece Silverplated FISH SET with Mother of Pearl Handles. Dating circa late Victorian era, the knife measures approx. 10 1/2 inches in length while the fork is 8 inches in length. The Knife Blade has some small scratches near the tip on one side of the normal use variety; overall Condition of both pieces is Very Good +. The Top edge of the Knife blade is nicely Decorated with Engraved Design. There is an Impressed mark: "Abbey" on the Knife Blade...
Large Thai Sawankhalok round form covered stoneware box in the shape of a mangosteen fruit decorated in iron-black/brown glaze on a buff-colored ground with a zig-zag pattern on the lid and stylized scrolling vines on the bottom. Stem finial. 14th to 16th century. 4 3/4” diameter x 4” high. Very good overall condition...
DESCRIPTION: A large wooden scholar’s brush used to paint large calligraphy. Thick black bristles are gathered into a bulbous wood ferrule, turned from the same wood as the handle. The tip of the handle is pierced for hanging. A very nice old brush, good for display in large brush pots; 19th C., normal wear as would be expected. DIMENSIONS: 16” long (41 cm).
Han Dynasty, Late 200 BCE – 200 CE
This jar is well-potted pinkish-orange earthenware that is covered in a deep green glaze that has degraded in places and developed iridescence from burial. The base is unglazed, as is the interior, revealing the place orange earthenware clay body. There are three spur marks on the rim from stacking in the firing. There are no cracks or restorations.
