Egyptian head of a king with tightly fitting headdress, the uraeus and the vulture partially preserved on the forehead.
Eyes and eyebrows recessed to bear inlays. Also the body of the rearing uraeus was originally inlayed.
Attractive facial features with slightly aquiline nose and full lips, the almond-shaped eyes with cosmetic lines to the outer corners. False beard missing.

A most delicate hand painted KANGXI (1662-1722)octagonal blue and white porcelain wine or liquor cup. The exterior of the cup has 8 panels with delicately rendered flower motifs, whereas the center medallion depicts a charming scene with pagodas, trees and a seascape. This jade (nephrite) carving of a reclining water buffalo and boy is 2 ¼” high, 3” wide and 2 3/8” thick. It is a late 19th century product. It depicts a young boy holding peach branches trying to climb a reclining water buffalo. Aside from some natural blemishes on the bottom, it is in great condition.

The two points carved in scarce translucent hardstone, not silex. They can probably be dated to the 2nd.-1st. millenium BC. Very hard material and amazing that they could manage to make such refined artifacts of this size...

The box is made of iron embossed with a hammer, the forging work itself is admirable, it presents a particularity rarely encountered in works of this type, in fact the artist sculpted the trunk of the tree hollow in the iron and forged the branches in relief.
