Mid Edo period Hagi Chawan in the stylish shape of modest slight distortion. It is roughly coated in slightly glossy white slip and bears beside a wari-kodai (splitted foot) a fantastic 'landscape' on the inside.
But the highlight is the old gold restoration, a fantastic gintsugi (kintsugi) which makes our Hagi tea bowl so valuable and outstanding.
The chawan comes together with a good wood box and a blue shifuku for a perfect protection...

Antique Japanese two-section tansu from the Yonezawa region made from chestnut wood "Kuri", comes with a stand. Its large iron locks are incised with cherry blossoms and scrolling vines. Each drawer has mokko (melon) iron handles mounted on pierced backplates, and has pierced floral motif corner hardware. Its lockbox and the two drawers concealed within open with dual fish shaped iron pulls...
Excellently and thinly potted porcelain dish, decorated with a Peony blossom as the central motif. Extraordinary nice and deep Cobalt blue. Excellent and glossy glaze.

The guan yin is wearing a long robe, the surface shows a great patina and on the back you find the mark 'Da Qing Kang Xi Nian Zhi'.

Lovely early 19th century two drawer drop leaf worktable, tiger maple with cherry drawers. The drawers are all chamfered on the bottom, and the piece measures 29" tall x 20" wide x 20 1/2" deep, and 39 1/2" wide when the leaves are up. It is in wonderful original condition.

Beautiful little three drawer drop leaf work table, early 19th century, made of mahogany as the main wood and the drawers decorated in tiger maple. It is in excellent original condition, with the bottom of all the drawers chamfered. It measures 30" tall x 19 1/2" wide x 24" deep when the sides are down, and 40" wide when both sides are up. It has its original brass pulls.
Beautiful early cherry two piece corner cabinet with the top door having 12 panes of original glass (one pane has a very tiny crack at the bottom of it). It is all mortise and tenon construction, and measures 88" tall 43" wide x 27" deep. Other than the one small crack in the glass it is in perfect condition and ready to go into your home.
