Late Qing Dynasty (1880s - 1911) Chinese export brooch / pin with brass frame and carved cinnabar lacquer center with decoration of a scholar meditating among rocks under a tree. Very nice work, in excellent condition, marked CHINA on the back. Length with frame 1.85 inches.

Miniature umbrella made of bone and wood, Victorian, late 19th century. Either a toothpick or a bodkin/fid for punching holes in order to keep threads apart in English embroidery / Broderie Anglaise and for other sewing purposes. "2/ 5.7 cm. Condition: fine.

A Furstenberg hard paste porcelain cup and saucer decorated with bands and sprigs of sepia and black flowers with gilt rims and highlights. Both pieces are marked with an underglaze script F and a number (9). The arched handle is typical of early 19th century tea wares. This Arts and Crafts era Austrian handpainted 2-5/8" tall demitasse cup and matching 4-1/2" saucer depicts Puss in Boots walking on a country road with a windmill, trees and hills in the background. It is stamped MADE IN AUSTRIA DEUTSCHE VOLKSMARCHEN on the back of the saucer, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some overall crazing...

Wonderful work with deep undercutting, beautiful patina, in excellent condition. Carved with a numeral 1 in raised oval reserve. Inside diameter 1 1/2 inches, height 5/8 inches.

19th century small Chinese porcelain water dish in fan shape with vertical sides for use in a cricket cage. The inside is painted in underglaze blue with a fish among seaweed. Wonderful quality uninhibited painting, beautiful glaze with tiny bubbles, paste with typical blemishes. Very quiet subtle piece for scholar’s studio. Length 1 9/16 inches.

A nicely decorated lobed dinner plate with an off center bouquet of bright flowers in the well of the plate, two sprays of flowers on the lip and a reddish-purple rim. A little green bud near the rim covers a firing flaw. Diameter 9 7/8 inches (25 cm). Underglaze blue mark of crowned interlaced Cs.

Condition; very good and little wear. A short hairline crack from the rim goes about an inch into the plate.

Bright colors and interesting that no gilding was used.
