An amber colored vase with an etched and gilt “Oroplastic” frieze of Amazon warriors, the base facet cut. The Oroplastic decoration method was introduced by the Moser glass company around 1915. This is Egata used for the Taisho era period. As for this, a ramie spun by hand is used. This is drawn in Tsutsugaki. This is a natural indigo plant, and both sides are dyed. Egata dyed only by indigo dyeing in Okinawa dyeing and weaving is rare. This does not have stain damage at all. The state is good. Size 115cm x 115cm (45.2 "x 45.2")

A beautiful Flight, Barr and Barr Worcester plate from the desirable "Harlequin" service. The decoration features an exotic bird painted by Henry Stinton in a central reserve which is surrounded by a white field edged with gilded rococo scrollwork extending into the cavetto. The wide rim of the plate is in a pale blue decorated with multicolored butterflies and insects.

The reverse of the plate has the elaborate red mark which was used specifically during the 1813 to 1819 period...

Chinese Qing dynasty low circular form porcelain brush washer covered overall in a monochrome oxblood red glaze holding a partly submerged moulded recumbent water buffalo at the center. A brown wash was applied to the low flat foot and slightly recessed base. 7 3/4" diameter x 2” high. 18th/19th century. A few thin glaze losses in the bottom reveal the white porcelain body. A small production flaw to one horn looks like a chip but appears to be glazed over...

English Victorian buckle ring in 9K and a sterling silver buckle, c1890. The contrast of the two metals is sophisticated and smart looking. The 9K band has an interesting texture, perhaps imitating shagreen. Buckle imagery was used in the Victorian and Edwardian eras to symbolize fidelity and eternal love.Suitable for a man or woman.
