Japanese antique wonderful set of six puppet figures, known as oshi-e ningyo. The set includes a beautiful maiden, a samurai, a female attendant, a male official, Ebisu and Daikoku, figures are made of very thinly shaved layers of wood and paper with silk clothing and painted details, each figure is held by a stick and fitted with a stand (made later), the oshi-e ningyo were often made by households in Northeastern Japan and were made to celebrate girls day or as a prayer for happiness...
Antique pair of dramatic bronze censers, each with a warrior seated on top, the surface of each censer is decorated all over with ornate damascene (metal inlay) patterns, standing on four feet on stand inlaid with dragon, each leg is inlaid with the face of an oni (demon protector), each warrior sits on a rocky outcropping with hidden holes to allow incense smoke to escape dramatically around the figure, Meiji Period...

This unusual jade (jadeite) pendant is 2 ¼” long, 2” wide (measured from the widest part) and 5/8” thick (measured from the thickest part). It is a late 19th or early 20th century product. It is carved on both sides as two double gourds (葫蘆) resting against each other. A twisted RuYi (如意) scepter with LingZhi (靈芝) ends and a branch of flower blossom are leaning over them. A small crane is on the top of one of the gourds...
This jade (jadeite) pendant is 2 ¼” long, 1 7/8” wide and 3/8” thick. It is an early 20th century product. It is carved on both sides as a fish with lotus leaf, pod and some small flowers. It has a very nice translucent body and green spots. It is in great condition.
Chinese Blue and White Moulded Kraak Plate. Decorated in the centre with two birds in a landscape. Wanli C1600/20 Diameter 21.0cm. Condition: excellent, no cracks, chips or restoration. minor fritting to rim. Slightly warped.
Chinese Blue and White Stemcup of small size and good colour. Decorated with flowering sprays. Kangxi C1700. Height 6.3cm. Diameter 6.1cm. Condition: a hairline crack 1.5cm from rim (image 9), no other damage.
The lid with a sage or immortal holding a book, the handles in the shape of mythical animals, the body decorated with dragons and clouds, the censer is carried by three kneeling boys. There is a signature at the bottom. Dimensions: H. 37 cm, W. 32 cm, D. 18 cm. Weight ca. 10 kg. Meiji period (1868-1912). Very good condition and wonderful patina. From a Dutch private collection.
