Up for sale is our oldest Japanese Tokkuri (Sake bottle). It dates from the Momoyama Period with an age of 400 years and has a very tasteful glaze with vivid colours. Close to the bottom there is a kiln mark (refer to picture no. 6)

The Tokkuri can be used with a little flower as a wabi arrangement...

A rare, finely potted, small deep dish, well painted with "famille verte" enamels and decorated in scholar's taste with precious objects . This item was made in Jingdezhen, China circa 1700-1722 during the reign of the Kangxi emperor. This is the clothes which a fire fighter of Edo period wore inside of Sashiko Hanten. This is the very rare item which the person of waterfall ascetic practices was drawn on to a back in Tsutsugaki. This picture does one of the famous programs of Kabuki in a motif. The cotton is spun by hand. And it is slightly thick. This has several places of fading and tears. This has small damage on a collar and a shoulder. However, I do not feel the state. Size 67cm x 90cm (26.3 "x 35.4")

Rare Ming dynasty longquan celadon large lantern vase, rounded side with barrel shape and unglazed foot ring, celadon vase decorated with carved chrysanthemum flower motif, vertical ribbing on the neck and lower part, flower and cross motif at the belly, covered with nice green tone celadon glaze.

An elegant and very unusual wine glass with a double shoulder collar and a single basal collar. This form is accepted as being Scottish, rather than English, making it rarer. The funnel bowl has leaves and acorns engraved around the rim, the stem with a pair of spiral threads around a lace twists.

5 1/4 inches tall, bowl and foot diameter of 2 1/4 inches. Rough, snapped pontil. No damage, polishing, or restoration.
