A small enamelled copper box, the cover depicting a grasshopper or cricket amongst grasses and flowers. The base carries a "CHINA" stamp which dates it to post 1890. This item was probably made circa 1900, during the latter years of the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). A extremely rare Jingdezhen ware Ming Hongzhi Period ( 1488 - 1505 ) porcelain dish, glazed with a pale bluish - white glaze over a incised Chrysanthemum decoration. Normally the same type of decoration we know from large Ming blue and white dishes - the same decor incised is very rare to find. Diameter : 25 cm. Condition : There is just one very fine and short hairline near the base( shown on the last image ) otherwise the dish is in an excellent condition.

A very rare pair of Guan type Ming Chenghua period ( 1465 - 1487 ) Minyao ( peoplesware ) cups. Diameter : 5 cm. H : 3,6 cm. Condition : Perfect Please compare the cups with the Imperial Mark and Period Guan type cup from the former PDF Collection ( now British Museum )London shown on the last image.

Wonderful porcelain jar, decorated in blue and white. Typical wanli pattern of swastikas on the shoulder, the rest of the jar decorated with gardens and two flying cranes, China, Wanli (1573-1620). Condition: two hairline cracks on the mouth rim, one of them with an almost invisible related crack on the shoulder. Dimensions: H. 17,5 cm, Diameter 17 cm.

A Ming Blue White Bowl. Diameter approximately 27.5 cm. Decorated with 3(three) phoenixes, lotus scrolls, animals, crosslines and scenery. The bowl has few hairlines, small chips and some parts glued.

A Qing Blue White Censer. Diameter approximately 25 cm. There are 2(two) small chips on the rim, and some engraving marks on the base and the body. Good condition.

A Very Rare/Fine Blue and White Bottle: Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century The domed body with everted spout and slightly recessed foot, painted with bat and floral plants alternated on the body in under glaze blue, the spout applied with blue tinged white glaze overall. It’s in very fine condition without any damages but age scratches. It measurem 8cm H. x 7.5cm D (3 1/8” x 3”)

A late 19th Century ovoid jar painted, in Yongzheng style, with 'Famille Rose' enamels depicting thirty-five boys in a dragon festival / procession. This item was made in China, possibly for export, during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition - very good - no damages and no restoration...

A well potted deep saucer dish, with very fine overglaze gold and iron red decoration. This item was made circa 1700-1730, probably for export, during the reign of either the Kangxi or Yongzheng emperor. Condition - excellent - there is very slight surface wear but no damages and no restoration...

A very interesting set of 5 porcelain bowls with monochrome glaze, marked with maker's mark. China, late Qing or early Republic. H. 6,5 cm, Diameter 11 cm. Condition: small piece of glaze is missing on the inside bottom of the green bowl, the same bowl has a minor glaze imperfection on the outside. The rest of the set is in mint condition.

Description:

A Changsha ewer was applied on the surface with low-relief grapevine motifs and highlighted with brown glaze.
It was a precious piece by preserving the intact condition.

Date: Tang Dynasty (618-907)

It was from an old collection and was published in the collection book: Chinese Ceramics From Jin to Yuan Dynasties, 300-1400.

It was also in the April edition, 2011 of a famous Chinese magazine, Art and Collection...

This dish is rare due to it´s pale bluegreen Celadon colour. Well potted with a very nice Guan style crackled glaze. Longquan ware Southern Song Dynasty ( 1127 - 1279 ) Diameter : 12,4 cm. Condition : Perfect
