A set of Khmer brown glazed pottery lime-pot in the form of owl with a stepped, moulded beak, eyes and tail.

This kind of lime-pot was mainly used in Khmer people's daily life in the ancient time, as can be seen on the stone sculpture on the wall of Bayon and Angkor Vat Prasart (Temple).

Exquisite antique silver necklace, circa 19th century. Each tiny bead is hand folded into a geometrical shape, some of them still have traces of gold wash I doubt if this kind of craftsmanship can be done today. The hexagonal pendant opens up into a “secret” lime box, and the clam shell bead is actually a bell. Included is an ancient excavated garnet bead. Total Length: 87cm/34.3in. A socketed bronze Javelin, Eastern Caspian Sea region, dating to 1st mill BC.

A fine late socketed Javelin for throwing, Assyrian-Achaemenid period. Attractive javelin with rounded shoulders and a defined central midrib. The socket about two thirds of the total lenght of c. 17 cm.

Condition: Very fine. Beautiful reddish patina.

Antique, Ming Dynasty, (1644-1911), Chinese Blue and White porcelain bowl of rounded form, standing on a short foot, a white, rich glossy glaze with an area of thick overglaze along the rim and a light bluish shade irregularly dripping down in the interior below the lip. The exterior painted in vibrant tones of blue with three large Double Happiness symbols peonies among floral scrolls.

CONDITION: In good condition. It shows its age and uses. No cracks, repairs, or restorations...

Pojagi is the general name for the wrapping cloth and "chogappo" is one kind of pojagi which is patchworked with asa (choma or hemp) fragments. Antique late Qing Dynasty Chinese cast bronze and hand-chiseled tripod incense burner censer, in the form of the Lotus flower. The sides are applied with twin Lotus blooms as the strap handles.

A superb and large specimen of an Old Elamite / Mespotamian type of bronze battle axe, c. early 2nd. mill. BC.

The axe well-modelled, the blade flares outward in a spectacular curve, its edge delineated as a thinner border. Thick socket with two spikes on the back and decorated with concenthric rings. The socket looks like the open mouth of a beast when viewed horisontically.

Size: c. 115 mm. wide and c. 88 mm. tall. The blade is c 80 mm. broad!
