Measuring 10" high, with square bases measuring just over 4", with scalloped corners, this pair of 19th century Russian candlesticks have robust turnings and are cast in two pieces, the turned stem visible from the bottom. Very heavy, weighing 7 pounds, they retain a nice soft patina, with verdigris visible on the bases. There is some slight variation in the turnings of this pair, and the lip of one of the sticks is slightly thicker than the other, visible in photos...

A fine double series opaque twist (DSOT) wine glass with a widely flaring waisted bucket bowl, the bowl atop a stem containing a pair of spiral threads outside of a central gauze. Conical foot with rough snapped pontil. Lead glass with good color, striations, and tooling marks.

Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, scratches, or restoration. Height 6", bowl diameter 2 3/8", foot diameter 2 5/8".

19th century Chinese Famille Rose Melon shape Porcelain Jar, Ca. mid 1800's, 11 1/2" high, 8 1/2" wide-middle widest part, 3 3/4" diameter-top rim, with overglaze Famille Rose color of mother and children are playing in the garden on one side and two(2) bats are flying on the other side. Few old chips inside the top rim and kiln crazing on the bottom, no cracks or hairlines.

A very fine and scarce flint glass water goblet in the Magnet & Grape pattern produced probably 4th quarter of the 19th C., the scarcity owing to the frosted leaf, most of which were unfrosted. The glass is clear but watery...

Majolica wares were all about representing nature, and this gurgle fish pitcher is no exception. These fish pitchers came in a number of variations, most of which dealt with color schemes and minor design differences. This pitcher, we believe, represents the cream of the crop in a number of respects, the first of which is the gorgeou color, the primary one being the rich nearly forest green glaze which scales to mint green. Chinese Celadon crackled Stoneware Vase, ca. Ming period 1425-1644, 7" high, 5 1/2" wide-widest part, nicely crackled and shows raised rings like turning wheel pattern on the entire body by the turning wheel by the artist. Glazed with Celadon color inside the heavy top rim area, and the bottom is unglazed. One side shows darker area caused by the firing with wood burning inside the Dragon kiln. The condition is good, no damages.

Antique Japanese Ningyo doll in light purple and pine silk robes lined in red silk, with pale gold obi, holding a Wisteria branch. She is made with real hair fashioned in traditional Geisha style and beautiful hand-painted facial features. The doll is on a black lacquered stand. These fine porcelain ewers are made in a neoclassical style with a slightly flaring base supporting a bulbous body whose neck narrows before ending in an elongated spout. Tall dramatic handles are attached to the vase. Rich cobalt blue panels alternate with white ground spaces each having simple floral embellishments surrounded by gilded swirls and scrolls. A goblet, presumed to be made by Riverside Glass Works as early as 1906 as pattern number 593. It has a caramel color, not a common find.

Please be aware that this pattern is known by several names such as Old English Colonial, Blucher, and Colonial, in part due to the change of ownership of the molds, during the first quarter or so of the 20th century, during which three companies owned them. As such we are unable to warrant the maker.

His armor is elaborately carved with swirling motifs and he wears a helmet with round finial. His eyes are wide and his teeth are defined in an intense expression.
