The hooks at the top and bottom of the piece go around the edges of obi - a sash holding a kimono. The bowl has everted rim, and the interior decorated in the center with two molded fish, covered overall with a glaze of guan type sea-green tone except for the foot rim burnt reddish-brown in the firing 14.8 cm diam.
