Antique Korean gat, a tall cylindrical hat woven of horsehair with a wide brim. Framed with thin, black lacquered bamboo and with a ribbon for securing under the chin. Black gat were traditionally reserved for men of noble status who had passed the gwageo civil service exams. This hat comes with a custom metal stand.

This is a very fine Japanese Satsuma shallow footed bowl. As can be seen in the images the workmanship is top level. It is 4 5/8 inches across and 1 1/2 inches tall. The piece is in excellent condition.
It was carved by a late Meiji period (1868~1911) artist Tozan (東山). It depicts a smiling wood cutter taking a break and tying his straw sandal lace. A sparrow is resting on his straw hat. It is 6 1/5" high, 3 7/16" wide (from the bottom) and 3" thick (from the bottom). Aside from two hair line cracks; one on his back head and one on the bottom, it is in great condition.
A rare antique, first half of the 18th century, American Indian trade halberd or halberd tomahawk head, formed of hand-forged iron and adorned with brass panels.
During the first half of the 18th century, many Indian dignitaries carried the heads of this style on a short haft, like tomahawks.
There were numerous variations in the design of this halberd...

Antique 17th century Spain, Valencia or Manises, Large Hispano Moresque copper lustre ceramic deep circular charger, with a banded rim decorated with concentric bands, and scroll-pattern. The center painted with a stylized long-tailed bird among palm motifs, carnations, and scattered flowers. The rim pierced with the hole to facilitate hanging.

Majolica is a soft paste earthenware clay that is tin glazed and fired, resulting in a blank, opaque surface on which artists could paint intricate designs in rich colors.

Antique18th - 19th centuries Armenian Ottoman, filigree, partially gilt silver, large belt buckle or cloak cape clasp fastener, formed from two circular domed bosses entirely made of high-grade silver.
Each boss is composed of many individual elements in fine filigree wire work, twisted and soldered of excellent precision, with a pattern of scrolling foliate, leaves, and flower heads set with faux gemstones on raised settings, and adorned with crossed gilt straps...
Antique Nepalese bronze melong, "Mirror of Emptiness". Melong are placed on altars to reflect right thoughts. This melong has a polished center surrounded by flames. It stands on a lotus base. It is the same on either side. A soft rattling sound from within the convex portion of the mirror reveals that it has been consecrated, meaning a prayer has been placed inside.

An antique Japanese Sendai Tansu (kimono chest) made of Keyaki (Zelkova) and Sugi (Cryptomeria) woods. Original natural Urushi lacquer and hand forged iron hardware including the stylized Mokko handles. A vine arabesque design surrounds the family crest on each of the lock plates.
