This beautiful Red Raku tea bowl is the work of Raku XI Keinyu (1817-1902), the 11th Raku potter in an unbroken line of artisans stretching back over 450 years. Keinyu was adopted into the Raku family after marrying the daughter of the 10th Kichizaemon, thereupon becoming torchbearer for the most noted and celebrated tradition of pottery within the world of Japanese tea...

An dramatic pair of large Japanese golden gilt lotus flowers. Gold gilt in excellent original condition over hand carved wooden lotus flowers. Originally these would have been exhibited at a large temple. Rare to find such a large pair. Typically when found these are much smaller. Each is mounted to a matching base.

A Southern Song Dynasty Fujian ware tea-bowl with fine and very pristine glazed condition like from fabric. Condition is perfect, no any chips, no any crack and free from any restoration. Diameter: 11 cm and Height: 4,5 cm.

A Chinese bronze ting, after a Shang dynasty original, heavily cast and with nice malachite and red areas of patina, archaic inscription to the interior. 19 cms high. Song dynasty, circa 12th century. (one leg re-attached a long time ago).

Height approximately 7.7 cm. There are a few soft chips at the rim. More pictures are available. In good condition.

A nice and elegant shaped of black glaze ewer, with four lugs to the shoulder and covered overall with rich black tone. Song/Yuan Dynasty possibly Fujian ware. Founded in South-Sulawesi. Condition is good, only tiny re-touched to rim. Height: 14 cm, Maximum wide; 18 cm.

Antique Japanese pair of rare black lacquer dowery tansu for clothing. These fine lacquer cabinets would have held folded clothing and been carried to a brides home containing her dowery of fine textiles. Hinged doors open to reveal 4 shelves inside. Hardware includes 5 hinges on each door, corner bracing, handles for carrying by hand and by pole, and large lock plates all of which are incised with scrolling floral details and made of bronze...

A Large Fine/Rare Korean Copper-Red Decorated Wine Bottle-19th C.: Korea,Joseon dynasty, 19th century. Of compressed globular form with attenuated cylindrical neck painted with grapevine and grapes on one side and on the other in copper red, grayish white glaze applied over the surfaces including base, firing grits adhered on foot rim. It’s in fine condition but one horizontal hairline crack on lower body. Measurement: 30.3cm x 19.2cm d.

This is a miniature censer with Taotie pattern. It comes with its original box. Size: 3.5 inches (9cm) tall.

Bronze okimono with brown patina of a mouse lying down. The coat, the tail and the legs are chiselled. The details of the head are particularly detailed, such as the moustache hairs and the long eyelashes.

Chinese Jade carving of a maiden representing "Yuenu", a historic figure famous for her ability at archery and how to use a sword. She came from the Chinese province of Zhejiang and is sometimes called the Maiden of the Southern Forrest. The jade is beautifully carved with her holding a sword in her left hand and a ruyi scepter in her right, cloths flowing in the wind.
