Ca. 1700s / 1800s

This toggle is carved from a single piece of carnelian agate of a rich brownish-orange tone and utilizes the naturally occurring white layer to produce a cameo of an elderly man, possibly a Taoist figure. The reverse is carved with a monkey climbing a banana tree with what appears to be a ruyi fungus. There are several holes or pits incorporated into the design, three of which are carved through allowing for attachment to a cord or chain...

Very deep and heavy Nuo mask of a serene unidentified character with very long ears, ancient polychromia, perfect condition, beautiful patina.

19th Century Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Vase with Figure

It is 6.6 inches (16.7 cm) tall by 3.7 inches (9.3 cm) wide. It is 0.9 lb.

It has dark spots, skip glaze, a chip at the bottom, surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

This incredible Columbia Plateau is 2 1/8" long. It is made from semi-translucent carnelian agate . It was found by Ernie Cowles in the 1930's. Of his vast collection of over 5,000 points, he stated this was his favorite. Ernie was a member of the Oregon Archaeological Society and was profiled in "Who's Who in Indian Relics", Vol. 3, 1972. Yellow and red agate is extremely rare especially in arrowheads and highly sought after by collectors...

This fabulous carved tablet has been attributed to the Chavin culture, Peru and has been dated to 600BC-300BC. It depicts in shallow relief an anthropomorphic zoomorphic figure squatting upon a double bar. Exotic birds, snakes, saurian beasts and fantastical creatures are depicted in a transformational environment. The entire design is bi-symmetrical. Two pairs of holes have been drilled 1/5th from the top of the tablet...

A double Irish chain quilt with printed cotton fabrics of red and green chains against a background of black spots on white cotton. The front is turned over to the back to make the edge. The quilting is simple diagonals.

Condition; excellent, never washed.

A centerpiece agate stone bead from over a thousand year

A Chinese mutton fat nephrite jade pendant or toggle of Budai measuring about 2 1/2" long and weighing 86g. While primarily white in color, the jade has a few random russet sections on the side and rear, and evinces under strong light a faint subtle green tint. There is a hole which is used to thread for wear. Unmarked.

Antique Japanese isho tansu (clothing chest) from the Sendai area, made with all Keyaki (elm) wood front with dramatic grain and translucent lacquer finish, elaborate thick iron hardware including moko shaped drawer pulls and ornate raised scrolling vine lock plates with floral mon, large drawer on top, three shorter drawers, two small drawers and a safebox on its right side, which also has ornate iron lotus mon and opens with a ring pull...

Rare Yuan dynasty Persian blue and white big jar with flower motif, jar has been broken and restored small missing part at the rim, please see picture for detail, size: 11 cm height, 11 cm diameter.

12 Lenox Porcelain encrusted wide Gold Rim Plates with white Berries, made for "Tiffany & Co.", Ca. 1915, 10 1/2" diameter, encrusted gold leafy vines with white Berry, marked "Lenox, Tiffany & Co." in green on the bottom, and marked "X 10 1/2"/F49" in gold upper bottom area next to bottom rim. There is a small chip on the bottom rim and some worn spots on wide inner gold rim.

Finely porcelain decorated with flower on the center, and floral sprays on the outside, glazed base with four characters mark. PERIOD : Middle Ming 16th Century MEASUREMENTS: 12 cm wide, 7 cm tall. CONDITION: no chips, cracks, hairlines and free from restoration. Good ping sound when tapping by finger tip.

This bronze cast cannon is decorated in low relief of a coiled dragon. The fish like handle stock and representing a carp is in homage to the original purpose of such cannon. These examples where used to shoot flaming signals from ships at sea. Mounted on custom Bronze stand. Pitting finish shows indication of sand casting. Fine detail shows high level craftsmanship.
