A sterling silver and parcel-gilt teaspoon in the Irving pattern, patented by the firm of Robert Wallace in 1899. The pattern was reissued in 1975 under a different name, but this is the original from around 1900. The spoon blade engraved “St. James”. Marks: Pat. 1899 RW (deer head) & S Sterling. This is a pottery vessel originating in the Han Dynasty of ancient China (206 BCE to 220 CE). Vessels such as these were often used as wine containers. This piece his beautifully sculpted and has great colors. There is a repair two the foot of the jar. There are also small chips and abrasions throughout and possible areas of professional restoration. It measures 29 cm in heights and 32 cm in width.
A rare pair of carved wooden figures made in China during the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). For comparison of costume and facial features we have photographed them alongside a Ming Dynasty Fahua glazed soldier.
Condition: there are extensive losses and most of their original gilding has worn away.

Edo Period (1603-1868) Antique Shino Ware Chawan (Tea Bowl)
Shino pottery is produced in today's Gifu prefecture since 16th century and it is distinguished by thick white glazes, red marks and the surface of small holes.

Condition
There are repairs and cracks due to age. The bowl doesn't leak and can be used for tea ceremony.

This is an elegant Jun yao vase, in very nice/perfect condition and with the whitish splashed on one side to add to its' beauty as one of the best chinese classical ware since Sung Dynasty, the bluish glaze of clear sky feeling make u wonder how the potter make it in those by-gone era. This is a very fine Japanese cloisonne vase done in the style of Namikawa Yasuyuki. It is not signed but we believe it was made by Honda, another great Meiji era artist. The enamels are rich in color and this heavy vase has a superb high gloss sheen. It stands 4 3/4 inches tall and is in excellent condition.
