A very unusual 19th century late Qing temple vase, sumptuously decorated in the blue and white, doucai, famille noire, and famille verte palettes...

Antique Japanese Seto Ware stoneware ishizara (food plate). Covered with a cream colored slip and painted with a pair of crayfish in gosu blue glaze. Produced in or around the city of Seto in Aichi Prefecture. Seto is considered one of the Six Ancient Kilns of Japan.

Age: Tokugawa Shogunate, Edo Period (late 18th/early 19th century).

A rare of beautiful cup with well balance potted and fluted side, covered with green glazed. Southern Song or later Longquan ware. Condition is perfect, no any chips, no any crack excepted minor crackles glazed and free from any restoration. Diameter: 8,5 cm and Height: 5 cm.

An antique Japanese low Mizuya Tansu (kitchen chest) made of Hinoki (Cypress) and Suginoki (Cryptomeria). Two sliding doors open to a spacious storage area with a removable shelf. Originally this chest was used for the storage of water jars. Present day uses would include doubling as a stereo cabinet or acting as a beautiful buffet.

Extremely rare and beautiful Longquan Guan type celadon washer, decorated with elegant six lobed flower form, covered overall with greenish celadon glazed and light crackled to entire body. Southern Song Dynasty founded at one Island of Indonesia archipelago. Condition is perfect with no any chip, no crack and free from any restoration. Diameter: 11,8 cm and Height: 5 cm.

Suwa Sozan I enclosed in the original wooden box titled Kagyu-tsuki Take Kake-hana-ire (Bamboo Hanging Vase with Snail) bearing the Teishitsu Gigei-in Seal of the Imperial Art Academy signed inside “Sozan, with Amateur Skill” followed by the artists seal in red. It is 49 cm long and in excellent condition. The only other I have ever seen in this style is published in the rare 1971 book Suwa Sozan Sakuhin Shu page 59...

This is truly a museum worthy piece from the great satsuma artist, Seikozan. It is probably our all time favorite example from this artist. This vase is literally smothered with intricate enamel and gold work. The vase stands 9 1/2 inches tall. This vase appears to be nearly perfect but it has had an amazing and nearly invisible rim chip repair.

Ancient well-carved head of Lord Bhairava of wood on a custom stand. Bhairava (Sanskrit: frightful) is a Hindu Tantric deity worshiped by Hindus. Ritually given liquor spirits during ceremonies. In Shaivism, he is a fierce manifestation of Shiva associated with annihilation. Provenance: Spinks London, Handley Collection
