A white glazed, well potted Jar covered with a creamy white glaze. Southern Song Dynasty. The " counterpart " to the larger jar ( item # 1077671, Stock # 320 ) excavated at the same location at Central Sulawesi and also offered by us. Both pieces presented together would give a nice and decorative " ensemble ". Diameter : 7,8 cm. H : 6,6 cm. Condition : Perfect

From our Chinese Blue and White Collection, a very fine Kangxi (1662-1722) Mark and Period porcelain dish depicting an elegant lady being attended to by her servant. Cross-hatched motifs decorate the border, along with four vignettes of peaches signifying longevity...

 

Chinese antique porcelain bowl from the period of Emporer Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty, details of birds and flowers, the center has a lovely painting of a small blossoming tree in a container, the rim is painted with a ring of colorful flowers. Size: 2 5/8" high x 6 5/8" wide

A good Yuan dynasty 13th - 14th century longquang celadon large dragon dish, rounded side with flattened rim and deep center, decorate with large dragon chasing flaming pearl motif at the center, inner wall decorate with carved weave motif, outer wall decorate with raised lotus petal motif, covered with green glaze.
Dish is in good condition, no chip no crack no restoration, crackled at glaze surface.
Size: 35 cm diameter.

This is a horse cover in Edo period. It is very cotton of wonderful tsutsugaki. The touch of cotton is very nice. The wave and the motif of the family crest are very impressive with the rabbit. There is a little small hole. However, the state is very good. This is the one in the Tohoku region. size:127cm50" x 57cm/22.4"

A beautiful 19th C. Chinese blue and white crackle jar with original lid and mountain villege scenery motif. In excellent condition H:12" (without stand)

An extremely thinly potted, moulded porcelain dish, decorated in an most beautiful underglaze Cobalt blue. Very nice glossy glaze. Kangxi period ( 1662 - 1722 ) Diameter : 27,9 cm. Condition : Some minute glaze fritting to the rim and one long, secured crack to the bottom - area of the dish.

Late southern Song dynasty longquan Zhejian ( 13th century ) grey green glazed Celadon bowl. D : 3,5 inc. Perfect condition !

An extremely beautiful, large and impressive white glazed covered box with moulded decoration. Yuan Dynasty ( 1279 - 1368 ) Fujian ware, probably Anxi or Dehua. A similar piece is in the collection of the Baur Foundation and in Köln in the Museum für Ostasiatische Kunst. Another similar example is illustrated in the catalogue " The Tectus Collection", preface Rosemary Scott. Diameter : 14,5 cm. H : 8,8 cm. Condition : Perfect.

A beautiful early Qing dynasty sapphire blue glazed small vase, very elegant sapphire blue. In excellent condition, except there is a firing glaze shrinking on the bottle (pls. see photo). H:6".

Japanese Kesa, Buddhist priests' robe, "ro" summer silk. 44 1/2" x 77", the color changed evenly to a tannned tone. There are some stains in the front and back, and the handle and the folding lines in the back are soiled.

This is Edo yosegire Patchwork itajime katazome chirimen-silk kimono in Edo period(1603-1868). This is very beautiful yosegire kimono. In the skirt part of the lining, it is cotton and there is damage. There is a little, thin stain. However, it is not remarkable. I recommend this for your collection. size:134cm x 125cm(52.8" x 49.2")

These are the following items to be posted at our site. A collection of very rare fluted cups from the Song Dynasty. Normally it is hard to find one single piece from this kind. There are three different Longquan ware cups, one rare Yaozhou kiln cup and one blueish grey glazed possibly Guan ware cup. These cups normally are a " must " for every serious collector of Song Dynasty ware.

A good sample of Ming Wanli period blue and white bottle vase, rounded side with lobbed body and raising tall neck, bottle decorated with under glaze blue of mandarin ducks, birds and flowery motif. newly excavated from Banten area west java, very good sample for any one who interested into studying Chinese porcelain.
Both bottle vase is in broken condition as its found and restruck.
Size: each bottle vase is in 20 cm height.

A beautiful framed work of art, Japanese silk embroidery panel of a pair of Japanese Chin puppies playing with a tasseled floral ball. The imagery is reminiscent of fu dogs, in which the ball represents rule over the world. Hand-embroidered in gorgeously stunning condition, with very high-end and tasteful framework. Late Meiji period (1868-1912)
