An old Tibetan ladies purse made of Yak leather and inlaid with silver and gilt carvings with a center piece of Turquoise. The front has carvings of two fish (representing the beginning of life)and flower design. The back has a center tree design. There is a silver woven chain attached to the top for carrying. A beautiful Persian tribal small chanteh (bag) for personal use. Hand woven of wool for incredible durability. This bag has a very tight intricate knotting with a central design of diagonal bands of blue, white and rust colors. Inside each band is a diagonal row of what appear closest to a simple wheel of fortune motif except that each symbol only has two hooked arms and is spinning in the opposite direction of a wheel of fortune motif...
A larger than usual maiolica dry jug jar painted on the front with the scene of Saint Martin dividing his cloak with a beggar. On the back is the cypher for the Carthusian order and the date 1700. Unfortunately it is highly unlikely that this is the date of manufacture for the jar, which is almost certainly from the late 19th century and is loosely based on the series of jars that were made from 1697 into the early 18th century...

Massive Japanese Taisho period bronze jardinière cast with four lobes in high relief with chidori (Japanese sparrows) perched on or flying among flowering cherry branches. A lappet band extends around the circumference where the top of the incurving shoulder meets the short, straight neck with everted rim. The ovoid form body rests on a splayed base. Measures about 16” high by 20” diameter and weighs 26 lbs. Early 20th century. Very good overall condition with good patina...

Antique Kilim runner of Turkish nomadic tribe origin. A series of 9 large bands, each with three large diamond shaped reserves inside which are crosses surrounded by protective hooked borders. Smaller protective diamond shapes and crosses fill in the space around each large motif. Bands of white with small crosses and diamond provide more protection. Hand woven of wool. Circa 1900.

A most gorgeous porcelain bowl hand painted with green and pink fancy decorations around the rim of the bowl with a central vignette of two birds fluttering in a magnolia tree. The rim is edged with a mustard enamel. The condition is very good with some enamel loss in the bowl though not easily recognizable. The backside is marked Minton with a British registry mark dating to 1860. Structural condition is superb.
