Exquisitely hand painted with beautiful roses, this hanging Victorian light fixture is in perfect original condition. It even has the original pulley system. The shade measures 13 1/2" in diameter x 7 1/2" tall, and the fixture as a whole measures 38" long x 18" wide. It is one of the nicest hanging lamps of this period that we've ever had.
There is one silver buckle. The belt consists of eleven silver engraved boxes. Weight approximately 354 g. In good condition.
19th century Japanese iron mae-kanagu (tobacco pouch clasp fitting) depicting a vase next to a peony flower with water drops on its petal. Nice touch - a ring handle on the vase moves freely. Iron is notoriously difficult to work with. Very nice design, wonderful detailing, gold inlays. Length 1 inch.
A Japanese Satsuma ceramic bowl adorned with relief glazes and gold details depicting a motif of Manchurian Cranes in flight, symbols of longevity and happiness in Japanese culture.
Inside, the bowl features a dense motif of a thousand butterflies, often associated with symbols of transformation and rebirth.
The bowl is signed Sozan under the base within a rectangular reserve.

An Indonesian mask carved in the form of a male figure. The mask is carved and painted with fur used to express the eye brows and mustache. A symbol like form is carved on the back of the mask to bless the mask and to animate the mask when being used. A large standing esoteric protector deity known as Gozanze Myoo. The piece has darkened from the smoke of the goma offerings done for the image. The statue is posed doing the Gozanze mudra, which is the mudra of subjugation. Gozanze Myoo's name literally means the vanquisher of the three realms, where this myoo destroys foolishness and anger. A very rare extremely large storage jar from the Chinese Song period, 960 -1126 AD.These jars were used for storage for Chinese trading vessels. They were then traded off to Chieftains in Southeast Asia and were considered sacred items. Most jars were from the Ming to the middle Qing Dynasties. This one is very rare as it dates back to the Song Dynasty. This vase was found in Borneo, Malaysia.

An early Worcester patty pan with everted rim, carefully painted in blue with the "Bare Tree and Speared Bird" pattern. Rare and quirky Rawang/Nung small storage basket from the Rawang enthnic group, Kachin State, Northern Burma. Adorable Soap stone carving of Fu dogs on wooden Stand. One large fu dog dominates as a small dog is perched on back, and two climb and encircle the large dog. Intricate detail in the bodies of dogs, showing fluidity and movement. Soapstone is set on a flat wood carved stand of lilies and branches.

Early American coin silver chamberstick, probably upstate New York, Albany area. Circa: 1800-1820. This heavy chamberstick bears unidentified pseudo-hallmarks on the foot ring that are listed in J.R. McGrew's book on maker's marks as probably upstate New York. Missing the snuffer & some minor blemishes. The heavy silver nut on the base is over an iron nut, which is probably a later replacement. Size: 6" x 5 1/8" diameter x 3" ht.
Rare Ming dynasty longquan celadon large lantern vase, rounded side with barrel shape and unglazed foot ring, celadon vase decorated with carved chrysanthemum flower motif, vertical ribbing on the neck and lower part, covered with nice green tone celadon glaze.
