RARE Georgian hand chased sterling silver creamer with a cartouche on each side. One cartouche is monogrammed "AL" and the other is blank. This exquisite piece is in excellent condition and measures 4.75" high, 5" across including handle and spout. Dates 1820 - 1830.

This G-10+ Columbia River Eastgate Gem Point is undeniably one of the best ever found. It was found in Sherman County, Oregon. It is made out of translucent honey colored agatized petrified brunt palm wood which is heavily patinated. It is 1 3/4" long. There isn't a ding, flea bite or mistake made anywhere including the tip. There are no stacks or curves. The left side mirrors the right. You cannot tell the difference between side A and side B. This is true art and balanced perfection...

19th century Japanese iron mae-kanagu (tobacco pouch clasp fitting) depicting a vase next to a peony flower with water drops on its petal. Nice touch - a ring handle on the vase moves freely. Iron is notoriously difficult to work with. Very nice design, wonderful detailing, gold inlays. Length 1 inch.

Furoshiki with tsutsugaki auspicious motif, sho-chiku-bai which are pine, bamboo and plum blossoms. It is made of hand-spun cotton and dyed with vegetable indigo and colored with pigments. This is a large and exquisite antique Japanese cloisonné-enamel and embossed-foil (ginbari) Akasuke (Pigeon Blood) footed bowl with a lid and silvered mounts. The bowl's body is covered with red ginbari featuring a bamboo pattern, while the lid is decorated with fine details of pink and white roses and green leaves on a translucent deep red ginbari ground with the same bamboo pattern.

The silvered mounts add a touch of elegance to the overall design.

Ancient Egyptian artifacts from the Predynastic Period, specifically the Naqada II (Gerzean) era, which dates back to around 3600 - 3150 B.C. The artifact is a hand-carved war mace head made of reddish-brown stone, possibly Breccia. The mace head has a globular shape with a large cylindrical perforation in the center, which tapers towards one end. The base of the hole is carved with a pronounced reinforced rim, which was used to attach the head securely to a wooden handle.

19th century Asakusa school staghorn netsuke in manju (rice cake) shape decorated on the front with a low relief carving of a bird (possibly a woodpecker) on a tree branch. The workmanship of the brazier is intricate with one side showing a motif of Chinese stye lions mingling among peonies and the other, geese flying over reeds in a marsh. A Chinese Shiwan stoneware fanghu vase with a jun glaze, late Ming/early Qing dynasty. The hollow tube handles associate this type of vase with the arrow game pastime but this example, given the small diameters involved would be unsuitable. The glaze is a transmutation glaze and its colour is decided by the kiln conditions at the peak temperature.
