An Arts & Crafts English sterling silver pierced tea strainer, fully hallmarked for Birmingham England 1905 - 1906. This sntique 5-1/2" leng strainer has a simple tubular handle with a closed end. It is widest at the handle end, and tapers towards the bowl. It has a pierced 2-3/4" bowl; it has a THH & Co. maker's mark, most likely for TH Hazelwood & Company. This item is in excellent condition with no losses, dents, monograms, corrosion, repairs or damage...

A Gorham Sterling Sugar Sifter Spoon in the "Raphael" pattern. Patented in 1874 and dating from shortly afterwards. Size: 6", with a gold washed bowl 2" x 1.5" and intricate piercing.

This is an ANTIQUE GORHAM STERLING SAUCE BOAT. Circa first quarter of the 20th Century this STERLING Piece measures 1 3/4" X 5 5/8" overall. Note the handcrafted Handle. Gilt George III sterling silver serving spoon with gadrooned edges and a beautifully scalloped bowl. Spoons that are completely gilt are quite rare. The reverse is hallmarked for London, 1784. The maker’s mark is barely visible and is illegible.

Condition: excellent, no monogram. Size: 8-7/8” long.

Lovely sterling silver demitasse spoon with a floral finial decorated in plique-a-jour enamels in five shades. The stained glass effect is very nice. The bowl is engraved "Irene". The spoon retains its original gilding. The back is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1916.

Condition: virtually mint. Size: 4-5/16" long. Weight: 7.0 grams.

Pair of wonderful cotton knit striped socks the heal hand worked. The colors and mustard yellow, blue and white stripes. Some of the hand sewing in the heal is lose or is partly out. No holes and I doubt they have been worn much at all. 28" long and circa 1880

An interesting fragment of Victorian needlework, the somewhat shiny black (chintz, silk?) fragment of an irregular shape, later laid on a dull black linen backing to attempt to match the color, the final result currently round and 12 1/2" diameter, and 19 1/2" on a side in a new square frame (in excellent condition) with clean mat. The design includes a butterfly, daisies, pansies and other flowers, and grasses gone to seed...

Victorian letter opener made of a deer hoof with a hinged bone opener. The Victorian era often used organic materials for jewelry and objects, including desk accessories. Finely detailed carved ivory monkey face, c.1920's. He appears to be laughing with open mouth and measures 1 9/16" in diameter. There an open crack due to age at the top left -see photo #2. English Papier Mache Display Shelf with lacquered Chinoiserie decorated shelf, either place on the table or hang on the wall, 8 1/2" high-maximum height, 13" wide and 4 1/4" deep. Family enjoying outing in the Pavilion design in front and side panels. There are two(2) brass hook to hold the side panels together with bottom shelf, and brass hinges hold side pieces to the back. There are some house paint on the back side, but they don't show from the front side...

A pretty Victorian maple swing-handle sewing basket, the interior lined with colorful pleated silk plaid. The bottom, upper frame and handles are constructed of maple, and the spindles forming the sides of the basket are ebonized.

Origin: America, ca. 1900. Condition: excellent, except for a narrow age split in the wood at one end of the upper frame. Size: 8-1/8" x 5-3/4" x 9" high.

Attractive early brass travellers icon, probably made before the Ban on bronze travellers icon making by Peter the Great in 1722. This icon dates to c. 17th.-18th. century.

The Madonna della seggiola or Madonna della sedia is a Madonna painting by the Italian renaissance artist Raphael, dating to c. 1513-1514 and housed in the Palazzo Pitti collection in Florence. It depicts Mary embracing the child Christ, while the young John the Baptist devoutly watches. The bronzed pewter plaque is earlier then other available those have a simple border as well an a title cast on the back. We date this example to late 18th c Italy...
