A 13 5/8 inch (34.5 cm) diameter blue and white delft charger with Chinese style decoration in the center depicting a rock with flowers on a ground with other plants. Crossing lines with dots between, surround the well and also on the outer edge of the lip. Dutch 18th century.

Condition: a fair bit of wear to the glaze, a chip on the rim with glaze losses and other smaller losses around the rim.

This porcelain coffee cup and saucer was produced in England by Worcester around 1790. The set is unmarked but the pattern is unmistakably from the Chamberlain Period. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and is 11/4 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high and the opening has a diameter of 2 1/8 inches. The set is decorated in a chinoiserie style. The simplistic landscape is dotted with pagodas and figures hunting game. The design is delightful...

This is a very fine example of a simple, yet elegant First Period Dr. Wall Worcester coffee cup. The painting is very nicely executed, and features a large, loose bouquet of flowers, and other scattered blooms, including a purple tulip. The handle is grooved and there is a gilded rim.
