A Very Early Victorian Sterling Silver Teapot by Charles Rawlins & William Sumner, London 1838. Somewhat Rococo in Design it is a very heavy 29.3 Troy ounces in weight. A few minor dings, but in very fine shape.

Incredible pair of Austrian silver figural candlesticks, decorated with a semi nude couple in antiquate Greek style attire each holding a candle holder over the head, right bellow their feet, four medallion exhibiting Greek men and women in relief. Maker: Eduard Gottsleben, Vienna, c. 1880, marked E.G. and the Diana touchmark. Size; Height of each item is 15 inches, weight 72.5 troy oz. Condition Report; Great condition with no imperfections.

An antique traditional women's folk costume headdress from Bavaria called "Priener Hut". The outside covered with black velvet, both sides with a pair tassels worked in gold wires, frippery and glass beads. The underside of the hat brim with splendid goldwork in gold and silver wires decorated with glass beads. The sides with the long, often missing, embroidered velvet and silk ribbons. An arts and crafts period stamp box from the workshops of Joseph Heinrichs in New York. Great design with waves of silver over hammered copper. Measures about 5" by 2 1/2" by 1 3/4". D.T.W. initials engraved on top. Marked copper and silver and J.C. Grogan & Co. Pittsburgh where it was retailed. Fine example.

A nicely made English wine glass featuring a conical bowl with "hammering" on the lower two thirds of the bowl. The stem is a double series opaque twist with a central lace twist and an outer pair of 6-ply spiral bands. Conical foot with rough snapped pontil. Good color, tooling marks, and striations.

The condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, restoration or other problems. Height is 7", with a bowl diameter of 2 3/8" and a foot diameter of 2 7/8".

Lovely sterling silver berry or casserole spoon in Towle's 1890 "Albany" pattern. Very Victorian in its styling, the decoration makes good use of delicate flowers, swirling foliage, and a beautifully double-scalloped and matte gilt bowl. The back is marked with Towle's hallmark.

Origin: America, circa 1890s. Condition: excellent, sharp detail, period monogram "H"(?). Size: 9-1/8" long.

A blue and white transfer printed plate with the Boy on a Buffalo pattern - one of the first Chinese patterns to be "translated" by the English potteries and first used by Spode c 1795, soon also by other potters. The specific border used for this pattern adapts itself well to the lobed shape of the rim. Around 1800, unmarked, possibly Spode. Diameter "8¾/ 22 cm. Condition: fine.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by the Samson studio in the late 19th century. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/8 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The set is made of fine translucent porcelain. It is elaborately hand decorated and gilded. There are colorful birds of paradise surrounded by greenery. Elegant scrolled borders encircle the rims of the cup and saucer. There are gilded accents on the rims and handle...

This porcelain oyster plate was produced France by Haviland & Co. Limoges. The mark was used between 1876-1880. It measures 8 3/4 inches in diameter. The plate has 6 wells with salt compartment in the center. The decorations are a factory transfer that is hand colored. The ground color is mauve. An assortment of sea creatures and plant life are scattered around the surface of the plate. The colors are vivid and the shape is interesting. Condition: Excellent

A fine set of four wine glasses in the desirable emerald green color, of cup bowl form, each with a collar knop and a basal knop above a flattened knop. Lead glass, polished pontil.

George V sterling silver vase. Made by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd in Sheffield in 1913. Tapering and girdled tube on stepped foot. Flared and castellated rim with applied molding and ornament. Lion’s head side mounts with hinged and turned rings. Fully marked, including design no. 13163. Very good condition.

Wonderful figural sterling silver child's spoon especially for Easter. The handle is decorated with two chicks recently hatched from their eggs above the word "Easter" and an Easter lily. Interestingly, the teardrop shape of the bowl is that used in Victorian times for egg spoons. The back is marked by Durgin and also by D. Low of Salem, MA (maker of the famous Salem Witch spoon). Circa 1890. 4.5" long. Excellent condition, including intact gilding on the interiors of the cracked eggs.

English Imari pattern soft Ironstone two(2) handle Pastry tray, or serving tray, 19th century, 10 1/2" x 9" wide with two(2) handles in fluted rim, 1 1/4" high, Peony flowering branches decorated with underglaze blue, overglaze red and gold. This pastry tray feels very smooth and soft ivory white color and no damages except some gilding decorations are worn on the edges.

Pretty Edwardian inkwell. Made by Foster & Bailey in Providence, ca 1910. Rectangular clear glass base with chamfered corners, wraparound acid-etched garland, and star cut to underside. Ovalish well with short neck in sterling silver collar with hinged and domed cover. Cover top has enameled flower basket and garland on white wavy and chevron ground with ornamental blue lunettes. Fully marked. Very good condition with strong color.
