A Victorian silver plate rolltop butter dish or server in the Aesthetic style from the 1880s. This antique beauty was made by Meriden and it has all of the hallmarks of quality and Victorian style and mechanical complexity. It has a pedestal base, a handle with floral decoration, high relief borders and a roll top with a pressed floral design. English Transferware Plate, marked "E. Challinor", "Dora" red Transferware Plate, Ca. 1856, 8 1/2" diameter, cows, sheeps and farm house scenery, very pleasant farm animals and houses, and crazing glaze on the surface on the some spots, condition is good.

Sterling silver sugar spoon in Whiting's 1891 "Louis XV" pattern. The spade-shaped bowl is slightly scalloped at the neck for decorative appeal. The back is stamped with Whiting's hallmark, the patent date (indicating an older piece) and the retailer's mark "A. Stowell & Co." (Baltimore).

Anglican, Lowther Castle Transferware Plate, Purple color Iron Stone, with a man, cow and other anumals in front of Lowther Castle, Ca. 1850, 8 1/4" diameter, crazing on the glaze, the condition is good.

Victorian silver plated sugar tongs in the Gothic Revival taste. Each of the twisted sides is decorated with a woman (who looks curiously like a nun) holding a child, and an angel-like figure. The oval tips are gilt.

Gorgeous sterling silver pickle fork in a lovely Art Nouveau pattern featuring wild roses trailing assymetrically down the handle. The design continues onto the back of the fork, as well. The elegance of the detailing is simply stunning even the thorns are visible. Excellent condition; no monogram. The reverse is marked "Sterling/Pat. 1903" and has the maker's mark for the Baird-North Co. of Salem, MA. Excellent condition, no monogram. 5-13/16" long.

High quality porcelain tea saucer in a most unusual design incorporating polychrome fantasy flowers with pink luster, probably made for the American market. The body is a typical Regency style with tall, sharply angled sides.

Lovely sterling silver ladle with a masque of Bacchus or some other satyr on the end of the handle. Decorative beading outlines the handle and the bowl. The reverse is marked "925 Sterling 1000". Although by an unknown American maker, this piece probably dates to the late 19th century when Gorham, Tiffany and other quality silversmiths were using lots of mythological motifs. Englisn Staffordshire Transferware Pottery Plate, Ca. 1850, 9 3/8" diameter, deers and cow resting under the big tree, and Cathedral in the far background, marked "Park Scenery, Phillips, Longport", glaze crackled, some mild stains on the back top area, no damages.

English W. Adams, Lorraine Brown Transferware Ironstone Dish, deeper Plate, Ca. 1840, 8 1/2" diameter, 1 3/8" high, pleasant scenery with cows buildings behind within wide floral and vine design border, crazing on the glaze, the condition is good.

Eight(8) American Porcelain "K T & T, Knowledge, Taylor & Knowledge" from from "East Liverpool", "Ohio" Dessert Plates, Pre 1900, 8" diameter, with hand painted Bouquets of Flower design, marked "K. T. & T. China." and pattern date and numbers in green on the back. There are some glaze stains on the bottom in some of the plates but front decorated surface shows in good condition.

Pretty late Victorian porcelain child's cup. One side has a polychrome transfer image of a playful dog, while the other shows another dog with a blue ribbon around his neck. The rim and handle are decorated with gilt bands. Porcelain cups such as these were prized by Victorian children. The bottom is marked "Germany".

Origin: Germany, ca 1900. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks, light wear to gilding at rim. Size: 2-3/16" tall.
