Dating from the early 1700s before Meissen starting using their cross swords logo is this very rare Meissen porcelain cameo vase. The applied bisque cameo features the goddess Venus looking into a mirror. In very good antique condition, the only evidence of age is wear to the gold gilt. We have not attempted to clean the vase. Measures 9 inches high, about 4.5" diameter at widest.

An stoneware cheese keeper or dome decorated with Bamboo and Trellis motif consisting of black enameled trellis surrounded by leaves and cherry blossoms in pink, green, and ochre. The base of the dome and the handle continue the bamboo motif. The exciting feature of the dome is its orange peel texture which adds additional interest to this Aesthetic Movement work of art. Total 21 Mintons Porcelain Dessert Plates, 7 5/8" diameter, 3/4" high, with brilliant raised etched Gold border on top of the wider Cobalt Blue border. "Mintons Est. 1793 England" in purple, "g6262" in red on the bottom plus impressed mark on the bottom. The condition is exceptionally good. This is the same design as #1368383 and #1368279.

This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1800. It has the first quality under glaze crossed swords mark. The style of the cup is from the early Biedermeire Period, 1815 -1848. The saucer measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter. The cup is 3 inches tall (without the handle) and has a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Manufactory KPM around 1835. The cup is 3 3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 3 ½ inches. The saucer has a diameter of 6 inches. It is inscribed “Andenhen an den 8ten Funi 1835” on the front of the cup, translated as Commemoration of the 8th of June 1835. Circa 1790-1820, English underglaze blue pearlware bowl with exaggerated Chinese style figures. Hand painted and in excellent antique condition, it measures 5 1/8” diameter x 2.75” high.

These 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers were produced in France in the 1890s. They have a spurious Sevres mark but were most likely decorated by a Paris porcelain firm. The saucers have a diameter of 3 3/4 inches and the cups are 2 inches high. The cups have a puffy, blown-out shape. The set is decorated with an elaborate raised gold pattern in two color gold. The interiors of the cups are coated with gold. The rims and handles are gilded. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain chamber stick was produced in the early 19th century. It is unmarked but may have been produced by Coalport. It is 7 inches long, 4 1/2 inches wide and 3 inches tall. The fine hard paste porcelain is molded in rococo style and there are three paw feet supporting it. The ground is deep cobalt blue with two reserves. A rare, early English flow blue three piece soup tureen c1850-60. This tureen stands 11" high with the lid, and the matching, fitted underplate measures 14-3/4" x 13". It has a floral style motif, and it has an impressed S as well as a pseudo Chinese mark, minor variants of which were used by Charles Meigh (1835-49), Charles Meigh & Son (1851-61) and also Job Meigh (c1805-34), all of Hanley, Staffordshire; we feel it dates from c1850-60 but it could possibly be of earlier manufacture...

This 3 piece porcelain tea set was produced in Austria by Royal Rudolstadt in the 1890s. The pot measures 5 ½ inches high and 4 ¼ inches from the spout to the handle. The cream pitcher is 4 inches high and 3 inches from the spout to the handle. The sugar bowl with lid is 3 ½ inches high and has a diameter of 3 ¼ inches. The 3 pieces all have little feet. They are entirely hand painted and hand gilded. The scenes with cherubs are all artist signed...

A fine and early Dr. Wall Worcester sauce boat, of cos lettuce leaf form. This uncommon and molded example has a looped stem handle, and is decorated inside and out with scattered flower sprigs and insects, finished with raised fruit near the handle juncture.
