French T&V Tressemanes & Vogt Limoges Porcelain Serving Bowl and matching underplate, Ca. 1907-1919, 2 1/4" high, 5 3/8" diameter top rim for bowl and 7 1/4" diameter, 3/4" high for under plate, hand painted Blueberry design, entire surface is painted except bottom is white glazed with fluted rim, marked "T&V Limoges, France, Depose" in green on the bottom. The condition is good.

French Sevres Porcelain Plate, Ca. 1804-1809, 8 1/2" diameter, 3/4" high, hand painted with multiple floral design in the center, and molded low relief Bisque finish wide rim border with Angels holding floral banners repeated design, wrapped around with thin gold rim. Marked "M.JMP je de Sevres" in red on the bottom. The condition is good, thin gold rim is somewhat rubbed off in some area.

Rare majolica figural group spill vase featuring a pair of mallard ducks. In excellent condition, it measures 5.5 inches across x 3" high. Date circa 1880.

An attractive 18th century English porcelain teabowl and saucer, made by one of the Liverpool factories. Excellent condition with no problems. The saucer is 4 3/4" in diameter, with the bowl being 3" in diameter and 1 3/4" in height.

English Pink transfer ware scalloped edge Dinner Plate, 19th century, 10 1/2" diameter, woman and man talking and pointing to the two(2) cows are grazing in front of Monastery gate, marked "Monastery" and "10" in red on the bottom. Some glazed area are stained and hairline 1" long from the rim.

English Blue Transferware deep Plate, 19th century, 8 7/8" diameter, 1 1/4" high, fluted edge with Castle scenery and figures attending cows, impressed mark "2" on the bottom, possibly "Spode" pottery, the edges are worn and stained little, the condition is good.

English Spode Blue Transfer deep plate, late 19th century, 9 3/4" diameter, 1 1/2" high, with Italian pattern inside fluted rim and two(2) figures attending cows, imprinted mark "Spode 54" "Spode" in underglaze blue, the condition is good.

A fine example of a coffee can made by the Seth Pennington Liverpool factory. The pattern, known as the "Scolding Woman" shows two polychrome Chinoiserie figures along with a large tree and rockwork.

The condition is superb, with no flaws and looking factory fresh. The height is 2 1/2" and the diameter is 2 1/4".

An excellent example of an uncommon form, a Lowestoft hand painted butter boat, showing two houses on an island and with a lattice border on the leaf-shaped piece, and with an angular stalk handle. Retains the label of Rod Jellicoe, a well-known dealer in English porcelain.

The condition is excellent, with bright colors and no chips, cracks, paint loss, or restoration. 2 1/4" long by 2" wide.

A Bow porcelain coffee cup of very rare beaker, or bucket, form. The scene is "The Koto Player", depicting a woman seated under a tree, playing the koto. The other side shows a table with a few fronds in a vase. Labels on the base show the provenance as the Bonham's Billie Paine sale, and Rod Jellicoe, a highly respected English porcelain dealer.

A Flight Barr & Barr plate with a gilded undulating rim with a central en grisaille armorial crest featuring a sheep carrying a pennant. Fully marked on the reverse with an impressed FBB mark and an additional painted mark.

A fine example of an English porcelain coffee can, made by the Richard Chaffers & Co. manufactory in Liverpool. As to be expected, and as it should be, the soapstone based body resembles that of Worcester.

This particular piece is decorated with a variation of the "Scarlet Japan" pattern, and shows bright colors and careful painting. The condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, restoration, or other problems. The height is 2 1/4" and the diameter is 2 1/8".

A rare Worcester porcelain coffee can, tapering slightly toward the base and molded with corrugated ribs above a finely scalloped foot, the lobed rim with a slight flare, and the double scroll handle with a pointed thumbrest. Painted in the Chinese style with flowering plants, the border with half-flowerheads linked by a red line above leafy tendrils.

A fine and early Worcester sweetmeat, the open shell curled over at one side, the undulating rim strongly shaded in green with a yellow inner border to the green. Painted in the Meissen style with a central flower spray surrounded by scattered smaller sprays.

Superb bright condition with no issues at all. The length is 4 3/4", the width 5 1/4", and the height 1 3/4".

NOTE: A similar dish, in a more common color, sparser painting, and with wear sold at the Bonham's sale in March, 2010.

A beautiful Longton Hall bowl, decorated with polychrome flowers, most likely done by the Trembly Rose painter. Very fine condition with fresh colors, no cracks, paint loss, or restoration. The diameter is 4 3/8" and the height is 2".

A faïence vase by Cantagalli with silverluster and blue decoration in the Hispano-Moresque or Ottoman style, c 1880-90. Ulysse Cantagalli, Florence, drew his inspiration from Arts and Crafts designers like William de Morgan, from Italian Renaissance and Islamic ceramics. A very rare caneware tureen in the form of a cabbage with a mother rabbit and 3 bunnies peeking out of the lid. The cabbage with tureen rests on a matching plate. In very good antique condition, this item was actually used in its earlier days. Worth noting is that all the color in the rabbits eyes is still intact. Designed and potted by Ferdinand Burgard for Egmondville Pottery in Onterio, Canada, the underside of the tureen is impressed “10” and the letters “FB”. Dates circa 1850...

Three child’s plates with moulded double daisy borders, transfer printed in black, Victorian, 1840’s. Impressed anchor mark and London, probably made by John Carr in Northumberland for a London retailer (cf. discussions on the internet about potteries using this mark in the early Victorian era). Art Nouveau deep turquoise Czechoslovakian majolica porcelain centerpiece by Eichwald. One small old chip at foot (see last photo), it is considered to be in very good condition. The bottom is marked with "Eichwald". Measures 13.25 inches across and about 6 inches high. Circa 1910.

A superb quality very large pottery figure of a male attendant or official, dating to the earlier Ming Dynasty, 1400-1500 AD.

The figure is placed on a high hexagonal plint and wears a fine two-colour blue and turquoise glazed robe. The unglazed areas have pigmented colors in red, black and white. Finely painted facial details.

The head is attachable as often seen on the largest figures from this period.

The figure holds his masters Ming hat in his arms.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Chelsea between 1756 and 1769. It has a gold anchor painted over the glaze. A dark blue printed soup plate depicting in the center Saint Catherine’s hill in Surrey with fishermen and a boat on the River Wye. The back marked with an impressed Clews mark. Well printed and clear images. 8 ¾ inches diameter, 1 ¾ inches tall.

A very well decorated two handled urn or vase with everted rim with a black background showing figures in classical garb around the main portion of the body and with elaborate continuous ornamentation, mostly in orange on the outer edges and handles. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Austria by Ernst Wahliss around 1900. The saucer has a diameter of 6 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is quatrefoil in shape. I think this is a fairly rare format with the columns and arch. The figures have a certain humor and art.
