Classical pair of Jackfield Ware candlesticks with turquoise colored Roman figures on a black background. This pottery was first made at Jackfield, Shropshire, England, in the 18th century with a red clay body often decorated in relief and distinguished especially by its thick black glaze. These elegant candlesticks date to 1860 and would grace a mantle or dining room table.

Rich Green majolica plate by Wardle of England with leaf and grape pattern. Note the intentional crackling of the glaze in the large leaf. In excellent antique condition with some expected wear to the higher parts of the design and the edges. There is an old chip on the back (see last photo). This porcelain dish was produced in England around 1825. There is a hand painted pattern number 1079 on the back with no other markings. It measures 9 1/2 inches across the handles, 8 1/2 inches wide and 1 inch deep. It has molded handles and is slightly concave in the middle. The ground color is a deep cobalt blue. The hand painting is quite elaborate with floral cartouches in the corners, a wonderful basket of flowers in the center, and elaborate gilded embellishments...

A very rare set of (probably) English 9-7/8" plates in a variant of the original Blue Willow pattern. We haven't been able to accurately identify this pattern with its distinctive border butterflies in our books, however they are definitely Georgian. The porcelain is the expected light gray and the decoration is slightly blurred and each plate has the expected frit and minor variations from the manufacture of these items...

This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. They measure 9 ¼ inches in diameter. The porcelain is molded with an ornate ruffled border. The center of each plate has a miniature landscape painting surrounded by a gilded cartouche. The border has scallops, frills, flowers and even a suggestion of coral. A superb pair of true Arts and Crafts stoneware pottery matched ewers in a rich chocolate brown colour, c1880-1900. The upper shoulders or these 7-5/8" ewers or pitchers are in a glossy glaze, and the lower body has a naturalistic matte glaze over a stippled style textured surface topped with a decorative linked band of semicircles. The glaze didn't quite flow to cover the interiors of the hand made spouts and the bottoms are unglazed...

Pair English Spode Stoneware Imari pattern covered Tureens, 5 1/2" high include top knob, 10" diameter, Imari design are on the top of the cover and as well as inside the tureen. A beautiful Derby porcelain porter mug, probably painted by Daniel Lucas. The scene depicted shows two figures in the foreground, one of the famous aqueducts in the midground, and a castle and mountains in the background, all of which amidst fulsome foliage and trees. Elaborate and rich gilding surrounds the cartouche and continues on the reverse of the mug and on the handle.

The gold around the rims are somewhat worn, no damage.

Three(3) pieces English Pratt ware Earthenware Tea or Dessert set, consisting of dessert plate-8 1/4" diameter, smaller plate-6 1/4" diameter, tea cup-2 3/4" high and 3 1/8" diameter-top rim, saucer-1 1/8" high, 5 3/4" diameter, Cow design in front of the Castle scenery and Shepard attending Horses and Cows. One(1) small plate has marked "Pratt, 123, Fenton" on the bottom. The condition is good, there are some wear from old age in pink rim area.

An extremely fine antique English porcelain coffee can, of flared form, made by the Chamberlain Worcester factory. The cup features a beautiful bouquet of flowers and stunning gilding on the borders, the entire interior, and the entire handle. It is fully marked with painted red script on the bottom. The handle is quite unusual and uncommon, not even appearing in Geoffrey Godden's book on Chamberlain Worcester.

A wonderful Dr. Wall First Period antique English porcelain ovoid vase, painted in the Mandarin style with Chinese figures in interior scenes, within wide red and gilt borders. The pattern is called "The Telephone Box" when appearing on blue and white wares, where it is considerably more common. The style of painting, using elongated figures, originated in China and then was adapted for Dutch Delftware which then gave rise to the term "Long Eliza." The form originated in the 1750s.

A charming and early Derby diminutive basket form sweetmeat, with delightful floral painting by the Cotton Stem Painter.
