A sweet tinsel (foil) painting of a large bouquet of flowers. The painting itself is in very good condition, with no chips, breaks, or image loss. The period or earlier gilded wood frame has normal expected wear. Period wood backboard. The sight size is 11 1/4" by 9 5/8", and the overall size is 12 3/4" by 11".

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory in the late 19th century. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and is 1 inch deep and the cup is 2 5/8 inches high. The porcelain is molded with a basket weave border and a swirl design in the body. The handle on the cup is in the shape of a branch. There are finely hand painted sprigs of flowers scattered around each piece. They are vibrant in color and realistic in their portrayal...

This porcelain plate was produced in England by the Royal Cauldon Manufacturer in the 1890s. It is artist signed B. Harrison. The plate measures 9 ½ inches in diameter. It is hand painted with realistic flowers in brilliant colors. There is ornate gilding and gilded accents. The gray border is livened up with gilding. Condition: There is some wear to gilding in the border design and slight scuffs to the center gilding.

This ceramic bowl was produced in France by Longwy in the late 19th century. It is not signed, but the workmanship and style of the bowl are characteristic of the Longwy factory. It measures 5 1/4 inches across the top and 3 1/4 inches high. The bowl is 3-lobed and stands on 3 little feet. The ground color is a deep cobalt blue. There are pink and blue carnations with foliage surrounding the entire bowl. All of the decoration is incised and colored with bright enamels...

This glass jug was produced in Bohemia by Josephinenhutte around 1895.  It was probably decorated by Fritz Heckert.  The jug measures 8 1/2 inches tall.  The stretch type glass is hand blown with an applied handle.  It is hand decorated with raised enamels in Middle Eastern style.  It is a handsome example of Bohemian art glass. Condition:  The ring of gilding around the foot shows some wear.  It is otherwise in excellent condition. 

This porcelain tea bowl and saucer was produced in England at the Derby Porcelain Works between 1770 and 1784. It has the gilded letter “D” and anchor mark on each piece. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches and the cup is 3 inches in diameter and 1 3/4 inches high. The porcelain is molded with ribs making the edges scalloped. The decoration is modest. The borders of the bowl and saucer have a turquoise enamel band. It is also in the well of the saucer...

A rare sterling silver pickle fork in Towle’s 1887 “Pomona” pattern. The long handle is decorated with a cornucopia overflowing with peaches, pears and grapes amidst foliage. The handle twists before leading into the matte gild three-tined fork. This piece would have been used for pickled vegetables, but could now be used for a variety of foods. The long size is much more difficult to find than the shorter version...

A fine pair of sterling silver sugar tongs in the classic “Kings” pattern. The design is very nicely worked and the tongs are generously sized. The inside of the tongs are fully hallmarked for London, 1837. They also bear the William IV duty mark. This mark, used in conjunction with the 1837 date mark, was used for only 22 days before being changed to the Victoria duty mark. The maker’s mark is that of either William Barber or William Barrett II.

A handsome pair of sterling silver sugar tongs from the reign of King William IV. The sides are decorated in a classical late Georgian shell and thread motif. The quality is very fine. The interior have pristine hallmarks for London, 1834-35, and the maker’s mark for William Eaton.

A pair of so-called Whimsey glass vases c1900. Glass whimseys, or end-of-day glass, were made at the end of the day's glass production by glassmakers using leftover glass; these items were usually taken home and given as gifts. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Spode before 1825. It has the hand painted puce number 739 on both pieces. The set is in the “London” shape. The porcelain is very fine bone china. It is hand painted with sprays of brightly colored flowers. There is a cobalt blue border decorated with elaborate gold designs. Rare hammered brass three-handled loving cup or wedding cup from Russia's Imperial era. The tapering form is nicely accented with forged strap handles attached to the sides with copper rivets. The bottom is stamped with the Imperial Romanov double eagle and the maker's name.
