These plates were produced in Germany by KPM Royal Berlin Manufactory before 1920. They are 8 1/2 inches in diameter. The porcelain borders are cut out or reticulated in a lattice type pattern. They are hand painted in the style of Meissen. The flowers are colorful and realistic. You can see the veins in the leaves and the texture of the flower petals. Gilding accents the reticulated borders. Chose from A or B or buy them both. Condition: Excellent

A Chelsea ecuelle and cover, fulsomely painted with fancy and aquatic birds. Applied flowers and leaves decorate the bases of the twig handles, while the uncommon (but original) knop on the lid is a beautiful flower painted in three colors. A striking engraved and flashed beaker depicting a woman on a plinth in a classical Roman robe, holding laurel wreaths, with classical buildings and an eagle on a column Underneath this is engraved in German: "Those who put forth the effort will receive the prizes." The flashed lower part of the beaker features cut semi-roundels and other cutting above a scalloped base with a cross-hatched cut bottom.

Condition is excellent except for some relatively minor chips on the base underside...

A beautiful and rare large iridescent glass tray with an applied scalloped handle, made by Loetz around 1900. The tray is 12 1/2 inches (32 cm) long (to handle-tip), 10 1/4 inches (26 cm) wide at its widest and 2 1/2 inches (6,5 cm) high ( 3 3/4 inches, or, 9,5 cm, tall at handle). The tray is in fine condition (there is a spurious 'LCT' mark on the bottom, and, it was factory-polished on the bottom so that the tray would sit flat on a table). Polished pontil. Very fine 19th Century European reticulated Silver Salt Cellar with original Cobalt Blue Glass Liner. In the shape of a fine basket and stands on 4 delicate legs. Condition: no breaks or bends to the silver and no chips or cracks to the liner. The base has a hallmark stamp.
