American Art Nouveau glass trivet with engraved silver overlay, ca 1900. Round with straight sides. Overlay in scroll and flower pattern with alternating flowers in round tendril-entwined frames and fleurs de lys. Sold center engraved with interlaced script monogram. Large old Chinese rosewood stand on 5 small feet. Well constructed, it is very sturdy and will hold a lot of weight. There appears to be a repair on the inner bottom, but when we tried to move the piece in question, it would not budge. Therefore there are absolutely no condition issues with this stand. Measures 3.25" (8.9 cm) high, and about 8.5" (21.6 cm) diameter (see 2nd photo).

Burmese betel nut container, gilded relief work with glass insets. 17 cm high, 15 cm lid diameter. Undated, estimated to be late 19th/ early 20th century. generally good condition, some missing glass and crack in base. Can be viewed in central London and shipped worldwide.

A very rare and elegant Victorian sterling silver pie knife in Gorham’s 1894 “Imperial Chrysanthemum” pattern. The handle is decorated with an ornate design of chrysanthemum blossoms and foliage that extends down onto the blade and shoulders of the blade. The back of the handle is decorated with a complementary design. Pie knives or pie servers are difficult to find in the better patterns...

A Hand Painted Bavarian chocolate set for the Late 19th century.Consists of a Chocolate of Coffee Pot (9.5") and Six Cups (3.25". The Design Consists of Hand Painted Florals. There are a few small wear spots on the bottom edge of the cups, but otherwise it is excellent condition.

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Ernst Teichert Dresden around 1884. The mark is blue under glaze. The plate has a diameter of 9 3/4 inches. There is a 1 3/4 inch reticulated border around the plate. The center has a hand painted scene of lovers in a garden. It is surrounded by a cobalt blue border. Elaborate gilding frames the painted scene. The pierced border has panels with flowers alternating with scrolled decorations. It is all outlined with gold...

A well-made and decorative antique English sterling silver swing-handle almond or nut basket, fully hallmarked for Birmingham. Described as an almond basket in an old Ryrie (Canada) catalogue, this 3-7/8" x 2-7/8" silver basket features fine openwork, a beaded edge and fancy feet; the handle has ornate decoration and the hinges are high quality. It has the maker's mark B.C, it weighs 44.9 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Edwardian Classical sterling silver bread tray. Made by Graff, Washbourne & Dunn in New York, ca 1900. Ovoid well with lobed ends and tapering sides; alternating scrolls and leaves applied to rim. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. 551. Very good condition.

This is one of the most vibrant and spectacular splint baskets you are likely to encounter. The chrome yellow paint is complemented by the deep red wrapping at the top and on the wood handle. Found in Pennsylvania, it has a 9 1/4" diameter, is 6 3/4" tall not including the handle, and 11" tall including the handle.

The paint is all original with no loss, and the structural integrity is pristine, with no breaks.

Bold Newhall floral porcelain oval dish with cobalt background. The dish measures 11" long by 8" wide. There are two available.

Five watchful dogs – setters, dachshunds and a collie – cast in brass on an Art Nouveau pen tray. Around 1910, unmarked, probably English. Length "7 1/3 / 18.7 cm. Condition: natural wear, consistent with use, the underside still with original gilding.

A Georgian Silver Pint Mug by Hester Bateman and Hallmarked in London in 1784. The Overall Chased Design, While Sometimes Found on Bateman's Work, was Most Likely Added Later. While the mark is rubbed, it is clearly that of Hester Bateman. Dimensions; 5.5" high x 4" at base, weight 10 Standard/9.1 Troy ounces. excellent condition.

A beautiful, hand-painted, diamond-quilted Bohemian wine glass. The amber-colored glass has transparent cabochons on it. The glass is 4 5/8 inches (12 cm) tall and 3 1/4 inches (8 cm) wide. It is in fine condition. It fluoresces in a gentle-green coloration - typical of late 19th century or early 20th century glass objects.

American Colonial sterling silver bowl. Made by Tiffany in New York, ca 1920. Bowl has curved sides and straight circular foot. Spare historic design that works equally well in Modern interiors. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 19750 (first produced in 1920), and director’s letter m as well as phrase: “Reproduction / Original by / Joseph Conyers / Boston / about 1700”. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany at the Carl Thieme Dresden Studio in the late 19th century. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The set is made of fine, translucent porcelain. The cup features 3 lion’s paw feet. The set is beautifully hand painted with vibrant colors. The couples dressed in 18th century costumes enjoy the garden landscapes in various activities. There are lovely sprays of realistic flowers between the scenes...

Offered is this beautiful antique French clock, with clock-works by S. Marti and statue made by L & F Moreau. The clock is 21 inches (53,5 cm) tall. Except for the pinky-finger on one hand of the spelter statue missing (see last picture), the clock is in good condition. There is no pendulum or key, but the pendulum-ticker ticks fine - so, perhaps the clock works fine. N.B...

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1890s. It has the first quality blue under glaze crossed swords mark. The bears measure 5 1/2" high, have a width of 3 3'4" and is 3 1/2" deep. They are modeled in fine detail and are hand painted. They look like frisky characters.
